Outlaw Thunder to boom at Senoia Speedway

Wild and exciting winged outlaw sprint car racing comes to Senoia Speedway Saturday night May 13th. The United Sprint Car Series (U.S.C.S.) "Outlaw Thunder" Tour roars into the fast 3/8th mile asphalt oval-located 4 miles West of Georgia interstate 85 on Georgia Highway 16 for its first visit of the 2000 season.

Clements earns title of team scoring leader

You may have seen it said earlier this season that Beau Balesky led the McIntosh Chiefs in scoring. That was true, until junior Matt Clements overtook Balesky and is now the career scoring leader for the McIntosh boys soccer team.

Lady Cougars hold banquet to celebrate good season

Newnan High School held their annual soccer banquet last night at Plant Yates park to wrap up their 2000 campaign. The Lady Cougars and Cougars were treated to dinner by the parents and Booster Club to celebrate their seasons and get together one final time. Awards for the Lady Cougars were as follows:
