Clements
earns title of team scoring leader You may have seen it said earlier this season that Beau Balesky led the McIntosh Chiefs in scoring. That was true, until junior Matt Clements overtook Balesky and is now the career scoring leader for the McIntosh boys soccer team. Clements has 66 goals, 36 of which came this season. He broke all the school's scoring records this season, which were previously held by Chris Hunt from the 1984 team. Hunt has coached Clements' Lightning team for the past three years. The other scoring record broken this year was goals in a match. Clements scored seven goals in a game against Carver. |
