Crash landing story slanted

As usual I am shocked at the slant reporters and editors tend to put on their stories, in particular the quote by [Peachtree City Fire Chief] Stony Lohr that indicates the airplane that crash-landed was a "flying gas tank."

As a pilot of vintage aircraft I would suggest two things: First, you should consider the effects and facts before allowing or inserting such a negative comment in one of your stories (the fact is there was no fire and these aircraft are safe); secondly, I would suggest you be more supportive of events such as these.

In my opinion this was a fantastic project organized by a few dedicated individuals with the hope of showcasing some very important times in aviation history. It isn't everyday that the general public is afforded a view of these aircraft or a look back into a time that helped change and shape our world.
