"Old Toxic Waste Dump Road"

Well, the developers and their puppet Harold Logsdon have pulled a fast one on the populace. They're getting their massive minimal-zoning maximal-density development and their is little we can do about it.

"Little", however, is not the same as "Nothing".

That TDK Extension road is going to need a name.

The good people of the county can band together and give it a good one.

I propose "Old Toxic Waste Dump Road"

Imagine all the nice 4-color brochures and full page ads in the AJC:

"Take I-85 to exit 61. Highway 74 thru Peachtree City. Turn right on Old Toxic Waste Dump road for three miles".

"Mosquito Swamp Road" and "Haunted Graveyard Hwy" might also work.

Is it too late? I'm being serious...

Coweta can't possibly think that this is good without any access to I-85 other than 74....

I think you need to turn your question around McDonoughDawg: What can possibly keep the city and county from stopping the road?

I've seen road committments withdrawn before. In fact, I think I read that the Pathway property doesn't close until late September/early October. That's another way.

That is the perfect name for a road leading to a perfect mess.
