Well U ain't happy

If you had bothered to read the article or watched the news the law enforcement officials did not choose to shoot it out in Publix. The drug guys agreed to sell dope there and when they were about to be arrested the drug dealer decided to drive a truck over the deputies. I guess they could have held their fire and let the truck hit them. They could have followed them down the road then. I just wonder how far the average cop can go after having F150 or a Chevy 1500 parked on them.

I bet if the cops had their choice, they wished no shots would be fired at all. In fact, I bet they wish the drug dealers would go down to the jail and turn over the drugs to the cops and lock themselves in a cell. Only two problems, this ain't Mayberry and this ain't TV.

people with todlers were in that parking lot. I don't know ..why... the drug dealer shot at you...maybe you botched it! Sounds like you did...instead of shooting up...where other people could catch a stray bullet..why.. didn't you shoot at his tires? Da...? He would never made it out of the lot...but that was too simple...now innocent people are laying in the hospital...and as others have written in..they almost got hurt.

Aren’t you the poster that told us that there was some “BIG SECRET” about the Sheriff that we we’re going to be hearing about? It was sometime near this years elections. You said you had the skinny on something.

The name you were using than started with the letter “d” is what I remember.

I don't know why you did not know that Underthecovers something really does stink. Did you not know that I Don't Know was Undercover? Well now... do you know now that Did Not Know is the one that you did not know? I just don't know why I did not know what I Did Not Know's real agenda is. Do you know what I Don't Know wants us to really know? I know not what Doc speaks about but I do know that it just might come out soon for that I think I know. But watch I Don't Know go Undercover and get real nasty as soon as she does not know how to respond when being challenged by those that do know. Do you know that I really don't know where I'm going with this. But I do know that I will know soon because I Don't Know will cause the beans to be spilled for this I know.

I suppose you might mean Gomer Pyle? A gomer is a stupid person. I don't think gommer exists. Where do you people come from?

No. Would he have done what his comrades did? Yes. Would he like what you're doing? No.

you used before "I don't know." If you're asking if I'm Bruce, no Bruce didn't know Troy all that well. He doesn't know the details of what went on in that house the way I do. He wouldn't have recognized who the two of you are.

Submitted by cleo on Mon, 08/28/2006 - 9:20pm.

So why did the Fayette County Swat Team surround his house on that
fateful day in Senoia? Some of them thought it was a hostage situation? What really happened in that house Doc? You were there
so tell the truth and nothing but the truth!

I am a close friend of someone involved in this. This is a long story and I'm told I will need to tell it in stages because there is a time limit for typing post.

'Undercover' and 'I don't know' are the Father and Sister of Deputy Troy Hoyt. A very good guy who is still well liked by many in the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. His story is a very sad one, not just for him but for several of the people involved including my friend. Troy would be very dissapointed in the way his Father and Sister have handled the aftermath of his death.

He had been a small town policeman in Luthersville. To him the step up to a larger department like Fayette County was an exciting advancement. A Sheriff's Department with more than a hundred Officers instead of just a few. Life was good and Troy was able to purchase his own home in a neighborhood with other deputies.

The struggle among the people who all wanted to live in that home was the beggining of his problem.

Please don't tell us any more of this story.

It sounds like it is indeed sad for everyone involved. I don't know any of the details and I don't think I want to.

Let's keep this blog for current news not personal vendeta

different stories about what happened. How many toes am I stepping

Hey Doc. Is there more to this than an digruntled and frightened bystander? Seems to be that their whole story has evolved into what appears to be a stinky personal agenda. I remember undercover too. She's got it in for the Sheriff's department and can get quite nasty in pursuing her agenda. Wasn't she the one that was going to single handedly bring down the sheriff and his posse? Whew....here she goes again.

Looks to me more her "Big Hat...No Cattle" rantings.

In a parking lot full of people noone got hurt except the bad guys. The innocents were hurt after a chase up the road after the fact. Shooting tires doesn't stop suv's. None of it will bring your brother back.

Submitted by Proud LEO on Sun, 08/27/2006 - 5:37pm.

The police did NOT botch the operation and they were not shot at - The stupid SOB tried to run over them in an SUV! But if the dealer had shot at them and was not in a car, I guess you'd have wanted them to shoot him in the knee or shoot the gun from his hand right?

People like you are the reason we law enforcement officers have such a hard time doing our jobs. We do one thing, you think we should have done another. We try your panty waist approach, you still think we should have done it differently.

You stick to writing blogs and griping in the comfort and safety of your home and leave the crime fighting to us. We'll both be a lot better off.

A friend of mine, a NARC that just retired and did some real high profile cases...the extacy thing with the guy that owned gold's gym etc...and some others much bigger. Her's were in the papers all the time. The deal is...she was very much undercover and she didn't bungle it n have shootouts...that is for the Gommers.. and I don't know how to tell you this...but 60,0000 aint a lot for drug dealers. N good ones don't meet in parking lots to swap pot for cars! Da!

You got the low lives. But what I don't like is that you almost hurt more people than you did. It was only luck more people didn't get hurt. you guys write tickets all the time and dream of something like this...that is why you lost it....and people got hurt.
I was there ...I saw ...and I was ...not...impressed!

Do you honestly think that police officers dream about shooting people? I need some of what you've been smoking.

I have been in law enforcement for a long time and I've worked with a lot of good men and women and have been involved in a lot of bad situations and close calls. Not ONCE have I ever said or heard one of my colleagues say that they wanted to shoot anyone. We pray that it NEVER happens!

We do a job that nobody else wants to do. It's not for money, it's not for fame, and it certainly isn't for the respect that we get. We do it because the world is a dangerous place and we want to do our part to make it habitable for our family and yours. (You're welcome for that by the way)

Every community has someone like you contaminating its environment. Thankfully, nobody listens.

you wouldn't know a NARC if one crapped on your head. And you weakminded posts are ridiculous.

To begin with, you don't know what went down and your posts show it.

Next thing we know you'll be suggesting that dealers are really just underpivileged, dis-advantaged minorities trying to make an honest living and law enforcement ought to leave them alone.

Take LEO's advice and let real men and women with brains do the tough work.

What is wrong with you? Drug dealers do desparate things. Number one because most of them are high and number 2 because there is serious money involved.(thousands of dollars were at stake for them that night, I heard sixty thousand dollars in drugs, but that is unconfirmed)
I have said it before, but I will say it again: if you want someone to be mad at, be mad at the thug kids using drugs and the parents who let them do it.
Those drug dealers weren't here on a whim. They were here because they have serious load of customers here!. That's why they were here. They weren't here by accident!!!!.
If they had shot at the tires or ground have you ever heard of "ricochet" because that is what would have happened, and more people would have been in danger.

Until people start to control their birthcontrol failures you can look forward to more of this.
