A suggestion to the other candidates...

If it's legal, don't take down your signs. Put up the word LOGSDON on each of your signs. Or, get a LOGSDON sign.

Mr. Boswell, Mr. Tennant (and Shelby Barker), Mr. Thompson - please go to the media, log onto this forum, go everywhere you can and put your weight behind Harold Logsdon, as did the majority of citizens tonight. Plead with the mayor to concede and go away quietly. If he won't do that, rally those who supported you to go to the polls on December 6 and vote for Logsdon.

I supported Dar Thompson, and now I hope that Mr. Thompson will put his backing behind Harold Logsdon. Dar, what say you?

I want to take this opportunity to thank the 829 citizens who cast a vote for me for mayor. Although I obviously had hoped for a better showing, I nonetheless am very grateful for the support I received in this election. It is a very humbling feeling to know that these folks chose to vote for me when they had five other choices, and I am sincerely honored by their confidence.

I have come to know Harold Logsdon over the course of the campaign season, and I wholeheartedly endorse Harold in the upcoming runoff election. He has the leadership skills, communication skills, and solid vision to lead Peachtree City over the next four years. I am confident he will do an outstanding job, and I urge my supporters to vote for Harold on December 6.

Historically, turnout is light in runoff elections, but this one is just as important as the general election on November 8. Please make sure you go to the polls and vote for Harold Logsdon on December 6.

Dan Tennant
Peachtree City

Dan Tennant ran a solid, classy campaign and cares about Peachtree City. Kudos to Dan for congratulating Logsdon last night and pledging support for Logsdon's run-off.
