New to PTC and jumping in

Well, the only constant in life is change and I have recently moved from a 16 year expatriot life in Germany to Peachtree City.
My company offered me a position covering the southeast and I looked at German winters and thought about it for about a sixteenth of a second before saying yes.
"Be near the airport", they said.
Fayette county looked good, so they booked me a few days in Holiday Inn to house hunt.
It was mid April with snow still on the ground leaving Munich, and it had been an ugly winter. Long, cold, wet, snow, slush, just not nice.
I arrived in PTC at about 10 PM, short sleeve weather, windows in the rental carr rolled rolled down, and a couple of The Citizen house rental ads for Fayetteville, PTC and Tyrone.
The first omen was at Peachtree City limit. PTC has a rare welcome sign. "Welcome Home" it says. No adjectives about how nice the place is, nothing about being happy we're on your mind, just "Welcome Home".
The clincher was at the hotel. The friendly clerk explained the golf cart paths and I was hooked.
After renting a place and return to Germany to finalize everything, I had purchased a golf car after less than an hour in PTC.
Sheesh - only in Amerika Smiling
So here I am, lots of Euro-experience under my belt and ready to enjoy life under the southern sun.

Germany to here will require some adjustment.

Enjoy.
