FC Foodie couldn't find his way out of a dog food bowl

FC Foodie's recent assessment of Pies-On Pizza and Taco Mac could not be more off the mark. First, he does not know where Pies-On is located let alone do his tastebuds work. Lay off the medication man and listen up. I have eaten at Pies-On and on occassion a Taco Mac and the two estabilishments cater to different kinds of patrons. I could stop by Taco Mac, have some frozen wings and a beer, expose my kids to a bunch of drunks sitting at the bar and listen to some underpaid waitress complain about her boyfriend; OR I could stop by Pies-On, have an amazing dinner in a quaint atmosphere and tell my kids about how dreams do come true for people who are willing to work hard. That is what is happening at Pies-On, the owner and his family are working themselves to exhaustion to provide quality food at a superior price, made from only the best ingredients, in an family atmosphere. Now, FC Foodie can promote big business if he wants to, but you can see what big business has done for our county, more crime, more filth and pathetic service. I would rather go where the owner and his family know who you are, care about how you are, want you to enjoy your meal and try new things, play with your children and laugh. Tell you what FC Foody... How about you continue to go to Taco Mac and explore the history lesson you gave in the Dining Guide and I will go to Pies-On and enjoy the food.

I ate at the Sonic this evening. I'm still burping those fried jalepenos they put in the Great Southwest Sonic Burger. Other than that it wasn't bad. Beats the heck our of McDonalds.

I know 99% of you don't care but there are some people checking these blogs to find this info. The Fayette Bulldogs won tonight and are still in the World Series. They play Indiana tommorow at 11:30.

Keep us posted and go Bulldogs. Just don't come on here calling them heroes again. Champions Ok...Heroes no way.

The series is over for the Bulldogs. They led through the entire game until the bottom of the final inning when Seattle pulled it out.

Sorry for the disappointment, Bulldogs, but you boys did a great job. You should be very proud.

After a long rain delay, the game is on. After 4 innings, the Bulldogs lead 3 to 0.

The Fayette Bulldogs play Seattle at 7:30 tonight.

So far they've clinched 4th in the nation.

The Fayette Bulldogs beat Indiana 13 to 3.

If they win this afternoon's game, they're on to the world championship against New Mexico or Puerto Rico.

I know you're right. Heroes was too strong a word. The word hero is relevant to the age of the person you are speaking of. They were heroes to the parents that day for taking them to the World Series. Champions is a better word. You have to forgive excited parents who reached the top of baseball for fourteen year olds here in Fayette County. It means little to the rest of the county but it means the world to the players at this time in their lives.

Restaurants buy ads. Forget about being very selective or much delving into their business or health.

Maybe that's it... Taco Mac paid FC Foodie to promote their business and trash the little guy!
