If that’s your idea of proof, please disqualify yourself from any future jury duty summons on the grounds that you have no idea what your doing there.

Is somebody official investigating this "invoice" or not? A sheriff or a county employee should be held accountable just like anyone else.

I'll be more that happy to talk about the great job the sheriff, fire, public works and all the county employee's do serving this community.

I suggest instead of wasting anymore tax $$$'s on litigations or law suits and counter law suits in progress - the commission and sheriff bite the bullet. We don't care about their egos.

Take the savings from attoney's fees and give each county employee an across the board cost of living (BONUS) say $1000.00 to be distributed this Dec? What would that cost the county? 30,000? I'm not sure?

I can not speak for all the county's divisions but I know the fire service and sheriff's employees are not up to salary scale when comparing surrounding counties. You make it a one time bonus so the county would not be liable for increase salaries year over year. It woul have to be across the board to take away any popularity contest with management.

All the rest of the cities in the county deserve the same bonus - but their budgets are not tied to the county funds.

I obtained Linda Wells' cell phone number from the Admin. at the Fayette Co. Comm. office- as anyone else can do-
I have called several times over the last few weeks- I always get her voice mail- She has not answered.
I cannot leave a message as it would/could get me fired- As I stated before, I have to be very careful since Mr. Dunn signs my paycheck- (But thank God it is only for six more months)

PTC Guy, et al, your point is well made, and I agree. The fact of the matter is I have no proof either way and I don’t feel comfortable in that position.

As with my working colleges and at home, I demand facts. I also tend to drive people crazy. Go figure.

My family has been in politics and law off and on my entire life and I’ve seen what innuendo can do to someone and I just can’t stomach it. I have no problem crucifying someone if misdeeds can be proven but I won’t do it based simply on someone’s word.
