Armed robbery suspect

An armed robbery Wednesday at The Herb Shop in Peachtree City bears an interesting similarity to other recent hold-ups in Fayette County.

The robbery occurred at approximately 2:17 p.m. Wednesday at The Herb Shop in Westpark Walk Shopping Center when a man described as an African-American male in his 30s entered the store and demanded money from the cash register, according to Chief James Murray. The store employee was escorted to the rest room and told to remain there while the suspect left the store.

Murray said the suspect was approximately 5’ 6” in height with a dark complexion. He was wearing a black baseball cap and dark clothing.

Peachtree City Police are distributing flyers and a sketch of the suspect to various businesses in the city. Murray said the suspect is believed to have been involved in other recent armed robberies in Fayette County.

Peachtree City Police Department is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in the robbery. Anyone with information relating to this robbery should contact Peachtree City Police Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 631-2510. Callers amy remain anonymous.

Why oh why can't they catch this guy? And, why is he robbing herb shops? He's probably walking funny due to chronic constipation. I understand. Hopefully, the herb shops have this sketch to go by. Ensure Domestic Tranquility
