i hope you know

that it was actually Planterra ridge subdivison who wanted speed bumps through out where we live, work, our kids play etc. So im so sorry that you can't/don't like the plan. And to who ever wrote in saying that " you should have considered other people who live in your subdivision" yea we did consider it and that is why we now have speed bumps! duh it doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. No one in our subdivision is going to be like " oh lets not put speed bumps in here because we wouldn't want to slow the traffic down." So i am truely sorry for whoever doesn't have the nice convience of cutting through because it certaintly wasn't a convience to us when we had over 6,000 cars going in and out everyday!
sincerely,
a Planterra ridge homeowner

that your property values just went down. When people see the speed bumps they know there is a problem and will look elsewhere to buy. And by the way - they are PUBLIC STREETS!

You've got to be very careful what you ask for. You just might get it.

Why didn't they wait for 54 to open up before they attempted the bumpy route?

Use your expertise to tell us what those road lumps are going to do to homes for sale.

I'm looking for something for a client on a golf course now, and there isn't much to choose from. The sweet spot seems to be 300-500, the homes in that price range don't last long on a golf course.

See the speed bumps?

If so, what was their comments?

There comment was it was about time, we were in the neighborhood before the 54 construction was finished, and traffic in Planterra was horrible at best. Said it was sad that so many folks abused this neighborhood as their high speed bypass.

It's much better now, due to both things (bumps and the road being finished.)

It's still good to have a neighborhood with 2 entrances, in my opinion, as you never know when you will really need the two ways of access.

Being stupid on speed is not right anywhere.

But even if this guy likes the bumps, in the main, it is going to hurt.

I know if I drove into a community, to buy, and saw speed bumps, I would just leave.

To me they say, "There are problems here."

I will stick with my single entrance community. Nice, peaceful and much more secure.

Each to their own, or our homes would all be cookie cutter.

I don't think they'll be there all that long. Just a hunch.

The owners are going to get fed up with them real quick.

Wait till one of the family clones takes out the front end or alignment.

Kitty Kat is our real estate guru. If I were her I would start looking for business there. Those bumps are going to get Real old Real fast.

I say this not being one who cuts through.

You do not own the roads or have the right to say who can drive through there.

If some residents do not like the bumps, there is absolutely nothing the association can legally do to stop them from trying to get them removed.

They have as much legal standing with PTC as the association does.

Just a couple of points to chew on.

So, don't get the idea you control everything within the subdivision. You don't.

What is really funny is that if you guys too cocky you are going to see cars driving through just to spite you guys.

And those speed bumps are half paid for by the people you are trying to keep out. Remember that as well.
