, and yes white people commit crimes daily, but im willing to bet anything, that most crimes in the metro area are committed by black males. Well let me be more specific when i say crimes. Im talking about murder, robbery, armed robbery, theft, drugs in the pavillion, etc. Catch my drift. In the last month there has been numerous drug bust in the pavillion and Banks crossing. An armed robbery at a herb shop. A pizza hut lady got robbed. So on and so on. I just wish they would stay in there county with that garbage.

Native Americans? On another level, where are these drugs coming from and who's importing it? I'm pretty sure that the black males being arrested for possession and distribution don't have the transportational where-with-all to get it into this country. They're just the easiest to catch and display as the pariahs of our society.

Most crimes are comitted in the community where the perps live. Meaning most of the black (or poor) community suffer at the hands of the thugs among them. Likewise white collar usually targets where the money is...unless you're an Indian tribe. Just admit your comment was racist and cleanse yourself.

If most crimes are committed in the community where the perps live then why are they coming into OUR community. And when I say OUR community I'm talking about the middle to upper middle class black and white families in OUR community. Their crime is a cultural thing and it dang sure ain't from our culture.

I honestly don't think that we should view this stereotype as a fact. Here is my reasoning. Women are frequently labeled as "the shoppers". Every time I purchased things in the past my husband would blow things out of proportion. We reviewed our receipts, and we found that I spend very little, and actually less than him. Even though I was not a "shopaholic", I was automatically labeled one. That is how I feel about racism. You get labeled whether you are a criminal or not. How Sad! Sometimes I find even statistics have a way of becoming clouded because of people's opinions. Also, if people are poor, I doubt that they would rob and steal in their own community because everyone in their community would be poor, they would have to go outside of their community.

It is not ALL the blacks that are the perps. Thousands and thousands of Black families live here and are good to great neighbors. And it can't be the Ghetto Blacks from Fulton and Clayton county that are causing the crime. They would never, never beat some poor defenseless woman in the head with a rock to get her purse. Nor it couldn't be "them" that do most of the shoplifting, robberies and breakins around the Pavilion. I want to be a nice one too, but I can't help but think that most of these crimes are committed by Rednecks in Black Face. We've got to get a grip on all of these country folk rednecks coming up from Pike and Meriwhether Counties and committing all of these heinous crimes on us Fayette Countians and then blaming it on the Ghetto Blacks.

No, I'm not Highgreen. I am just offering up another possibility to what may have occurred based on the story I read. I am always completely for real. It's always great to read between the lines, and look a little deeper. Which makes me think of what we were discussing earlier. Looking deeper is what keeps me from judging people based on appearance; like what they wear, color of their skin, weight, furry feet, etc.

Whom are you posting to--or better, to whom are you posting? Just mention what in subject, or at least in the body.

I would prefer if all "bad people" would stay away from where I live, but bad and black do not mean the same thing. I refuse to let some cause me to form an opinion on all. There are black men trying to raise families too. To call people you don't know trash is, to say the least, ummm... harsh.
