Linda Wells has already privately announced that she is withdrawing from the race for lack of funding.

I HOPE SHE IS WITHDRAWING THAT MEANS JACK DOES NOT HAVE TO BLOW ANYMORE MONEY. SHE SHOULD GO AWAY SHE HAS NO ONE TO LEAD HER AROUND ON A LEASH.

At first, I dismissed Tonto's suggestion about Linda withdrawing. But it might make sense. No, she wouldn't withdraw because of "a lack of funding." She would withdraw because without Greg and a majority she won't enjoy the beatings she will have to endure. She also witnessed what happened to Harold Bost when he bailed after serving only a few weeks into his term. This would be a clean way for her to get out. If she quits now it won't be over campaign funding and won't be because she is worried about winning. It will be because without Greg she will get beaten like a yard dog at the Commission meetings.

So, what about the 6th Commissioner? Even with or without Linda. He egged them on to file all of those expensive, loser lawsuits, billed em for it and they not only lost all the lawsuits (good advertisement by Maxwell) but Greg was left holding the bag. Will Maxwell keep good on his promise to get rid of the county attorney ? Nah....First of all, politicians don't keep their promises. Second, they are both attorneys so they will work out some "deal" , maybe explain it away as "Economics" and the commission will still fail to even take competitive bids or even split the work between companies.

No he wants them out, you know some attorneys actually do not like each other especially when they file a law suit.

Just give him a chance

My wish would be that Linda Wells would stick it out long enough to be publicly humiliated-
She thinks that she is above the law- NOT SO

Casey the only reason that someone other that Bost would even cast an opinion is that you are related, in Harold's Bosts case he was asked to write the smut he did even know some of the candidates supported him in 96. You're not getting it -

Here's my point, because I do not support the candidate of choice that the "owners" of this website are supporting, I'm a Janet, Linda, spouse to one or both of them, Mr. Bost, Peter in Drag - accused of not living in the county or a whining female etc etc.

I'm staying around but right now I'm walking on egg shells, I have to be very careful, believe me, it only takes a click from one of the owners / supporters and you are history and so are your posts.

If Jack were a Democrat I'd be standing in the front of the line to hold him accountable. If you've got something solid bring it on and we'll prove Richard wrong that votes can't be influenced on this site.

Exactly why I say this blog is meaningless when it comes to making any real difference.

All of this is nothing more than rants and ravings. This long blog about Linda Wells supposedly being proven as unethical by the logical analysis by uh oh, in which hearsay and speculation are considered hard evidence. or that she is going to resign or withdraw from the race.

Then add to this the allegation that Jack Smith voted Democratic in the March election. Yeah, thats more good debate for this blog.
Why is this a baseless allegation?

Because it was a Special Election and the voters didn't have to declare which party they were voting for, and I think Jack would be smart enough to deny voting for a Democrat when it can't be proven otherwise.

On an aside note, this is exactly why Horgan won. Because his voting record clearly demonstrated his prior votes in Democratic primaries, and he acknowledged voting for Kerry. But he was still elected in Fayette County, Why? Because it was an open election and the DEMOCRATS, especially many of the old guard, came out in force to vote for one of their own.

So, again, this blog proves that rants and raves based upon silly allegations and specious arguments are given some relative weight.

To get to the facts, you have to wade through all the horse*U)t.

There is a difference between the hearsay that Casey sputtered out and the already proven facts that UhOh listed. Gee..thanks for answering for Casey. I really wanted to hear her explanation.

As far as horses#*t goes it's dropping on the ground behind you as you spin Linda's indefensible and irresponsible leadership history as a commissioner. If you've got proof to the contrary then whip it or shut your yap on this subject. Your credibility is rapidly waning.

They may very well be true. I really don't know, but to have an anonymous person tell us that someone confidential told her something about something happening ain't what I call "legally" admissible.

As to defending Linda, I'll let her do that for herself. But as to being chewed up by your legal gurus, well I just find that amusing.
