why bill bonner is getting my vote

Everything else aside, Dan Lakly sponsored three bills and some resolutions commending nice people around town. That's it. Sponsoring three bills in three months is a complete joke. We need someone new who will actually do something in the house for 72.

That is, kept Fayette from having to vote in Districts. I think this sets Fayette apart, and adds to our quality of life here. I commend him for this.

Otherwise, they need to cut pork, not introduce new bills.

Your comment is well taken and I totally agree.

A candidate having to LIVE in a district is completely acceptable, but only allowing that particular district to select a representative that will make decisions and cast votes affecting the county as a whole, is not smart.

I want the opportunity of voting on all the people making decisions that affect me, not just the one from my district.

Thanks Dan... that's "one in a row" for you.

Not necessarily about Bonner, but with the theory.

I don't agree we need more bills sponsored. If anyone will just sit there and vote down the bad ones, I'm happy to pay them their salary. Smiling

I'm for Bonner, but would be happy if he just voted no 40 times in the 40 days. No matter who is there, they seem to propose the most useless and sometimes expensive legislation.
