Eric Maxwell and Matthew AuteraReading the loud protestations of Dr. Autera reminds one of Shakespeare: “Lady, me thinks thou protesteth too much. “ Autera and Maxwell may not be “development” partners but they are certainly business partners. Autera is a chiropractor. He hopes for people with insurance coverage that say they are hurt. Maxwell gets car wreck people looking to make money. Maxwell refers car wreck plaintiffs to Autera. Autera refers car wreck plaintiffs to Maxwell. They both work the insurance companies. All of these people in wrecks say they are hurt. The insurance companies get claims on both ends. Whether it is “development” or insurance companies, there is an arrangement. So what are we to think of the number of lawyers that gave $1,000 and $2,000 contibutions to Maxwell in his campaign? Because they are nice ? Or do they (or their clients) expect something in return ? Friends give $100, $250 or $500 at the local level. In all his time in office, has anyone ever challenged Greg Dunn on conflicts ? These are important points to ponder. justthinking's blog | login to post comments |
