Eric Maxwell and Matthew Autera

Reading the loud protestations of Dr. Autera reminds one of Shakespeare: “Lady, me thinks thou protesteth too much. “

Autera and Maxwell may not be “development” partners but they are certainly business partners. Autera is a chiropractor. He hopes for people with insurance coverage that say they are hurt. Maxwell gets car wreck people looking to make money. Maxwell refers car wreck plaintiffs to Autera. Autera refers car wreck plaintiffs to Maxwell. They both work the insurance companies. All of these people in wrecks say they are hurt. The insurance companies get claims on both ends. Whether it is “development” or insurance companies, there is an arrangement.

So what are we to think of the number of lawyers that gave $1,000 and $2,000 contibutions to Maxwell in his campaign? Because they are nice ? Or do they (or their clients) expect something in return ? Friends give $100, $250 or $500 at the local level.

In all his time in office, has anyone ever challenged Greg Dunn on conflicts ?

These are important points to ponder.

Justthinking we all know who you are and we do not care you will lose tomorrow it is ok....It is obvious to our voters you can't campaign fair. Maybe Eric can give you some menial job which is all you are worth!!! You and all your petty allegations which you have no proof of. That seems to be the root of your whole campaign.

My God Janet, stop it! Everybody knows who you are, but comments like this are really stupid. You are obviously desperate - more so than Greg. Maxwell wins tomorrow in a landslide - or at least 52-48 with 10% voter turnout - that's a Fayette County "landslide"

Wells is out - Chapman and Smith in a runoff - single digit turnout. Doesn't mattter who wins with a turnout like that.

I believe there was an issue with Greg serving on the Board of Directors for the now defunct Whitewater Country Club when they were pursuing the ability to serve liquor in the Club. However I don't recall the details.

Someone made a trip to CVS today.

"He hopes for people with insurance coverage that say they are hurt."
What?

"Maxwell gets car wreck people looking to make money."
I'm sorry I'm just having a hard time keeping up. What? Are these complete sentences?

"So what are we to think of the numbers of lawyers that gave $1,000 and $2,000 contributions to Maxwell in his campaign?"
Uh, I think it means lawyers want a lawyer in office. I normally would not but there have been so many legal missteps lately which have cost us so much money I think I'm willing to try it.

"In all his time in office, has anyone ever challenged Greg Dunn on conflicts.?"
Almost everyday. The biggest conflict of interest I remember was when a discussion came up about alcohol sales at Whitewater Country Club and Dunn spoke in favor of it without disclosing he was on the
Board of Directors.

Janet, go tell Greg you're on the computer and let him see what you're doing. I would have forgotten that without your reminding me.

These are serious insinuations. Do you have any proof to back up your claims? One day before an election and you allude to corruption in a candidate. I hope most voters are intelligent enough to see through this smoke screen.

Also, why should I only donate $250 to a campaign? Because justthinking said so? Also, you said ” In all his time in office, has anyone ever challenged Greg Dunn on conflicts ?”. As a matter of fact, yes!! What about the conflict with Sheriff? What about his refusal to release ANY information concerning the forensic audit? What about his illegal attempt to block the number of campaign signs?

Instead of just thinking, you need to wake up!

Be lied about and just take it? Have his friend lied about and let it go?

No, it is not they MAY not be developers in that company. The ARE NIT developers in that company.

So WHAT of they have a good relationship that even supports each other business wise. That is called smart, not illegal or unethical.

So what if customers and associates have given him money. Because my customers really like me, and we help each other as friends, does that make me unethical? Does this with Maxwell make him unethical?

Dunn and his two partner Commissioners most assuredly have done way too many things that have raised eyebrows, have wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars in frivolous lawsuits, have grandstanded at the Tyrone Council Meeting, with telling the other two Commissioners what they were going to do, have tried to tell cities and the Sheriff how to run their business.

Maxwell isn't perfect. No human is. But I see nothing to vote against him for. But plenty to vote against Dunn and Wells for. Then Peter to follow.

Keeping it real and to the core of the issue, not the peripherals.
