Do Not Call List !

G35 Dude's picture

Even though I've placed my number on the do not call list, I've been flooded with calls asking me to vote for every candidate running for office in the state. I guess the DNC list doesn't apply to these people ? Am I the only one ready for this election to be over for this reason alone ? Candidates be notified, I will not vote for you based on a phone call to my home. If anything that will work against you !

Check and see if political calls were on the no call list, i think not.

I agree completely. Hey, did you get the ones from Rudy Giuiliani (and I'll admit that may be spelled wrong) and John Smoltz endorsing Reed? Of course, I'm not any more inclined to vote for candidates who put up illegal signs, like the lineup Saturday morning at 54/74 for Cagle. What's a Republican to do?

Yes I got a call from Rudy, John, and Zell twice as well as many others. I got 6 today alone. My machine was full when I came home from work !

The law exempts campaign calls from the "do not call" law.

Mom to 3, plus a few strays

Something amazing has happened for me.

For the first time I have made it to within two days of an election without ONE call.

Almost a giddy feeling! Laughing out loud
