The election

I have been trying to look into various issues to determine who to vote for, primarily in the commission election. I'm leaning toward Dunn & Wells and have not found any reason to change at this point. Most of what I see in these blogs is personal - Eric is a nice guy. Greg is a mudslinger-emperor, etc. Well, I'm not voting for someone to be my friend. It doesn't really matter to me whether they are a nice guy or not. Of course I want someone respectable - I'm looking for leaders who will look after and act in our best interest as a county. After looking back over various issues I can find no fault in anything that has been done by the current commissioners. No, I don't agree with everything, but for the most part they have done a great job.

As far as issues go, I don't understand why the subject of double taxation for EMS services seems to be blamed on the commissioners. From what I understand, Fayette County originally provided all of the services for the entire county. At a later date Peachtree City decided that they wanted their own department. In my view, the issue of double taxation should have been addressed BEFORE Peachtree City set up their own department. All of these years both the county and the city have been providing services. Now, all of a sudden, it is a huge issue that must be resolved immediately and it is the commissioners who are trying to take advantage of PTC. I don't think so!

You must take us as a (((Deleted))) fool.

You have either just moved here or are totally uninformed and clueless as to what has transpired in the last couple of years. Either one of those disqualifies you as having any legitimate reason for posting what you posted. People that don't know what the hell they're talking because they are cluesless of the history or the facts on a subject usually sit back and get clued in a little bit before risking their credibility such as you have.

Another reason would be that you're just plum dumb? Ain't no one that dumb. So you gotta be Janet. Too much phony baloney Janet speak. Give us a break already will ya? I could be wrong though. You could be Peter running around with another handful of hickeys.

See Janet, no one would talk that way with what has transpired. Your husband and crew has filed five law suits which have cost around a half million dollars all of which they have lost or at least partially lost. The commission has fought with everyone over everything. There's no way you have researched this and landed in such a la la land. Only the newest of new posters would even believe this blog and I'm not sure they would.

We usually just shoo her off she stays gone a little while and then she sneaks back later. I know it sounds lame but there's nothing on tv.

OK, now it's my turn to laugh! Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not Janet. I don't know who she is but I'm assuming I don't want to be her from the sound of things. Well, I am new to this and I only wrote what I believe to be true. I originally signed on to this intending to only post one comment. I guess I've gotten carried away.
