Myra Potterton Skinner, 86, Peachtree City, died July 6, 2006. She was born Oct. 11, 1919 in Alexandria County, Va. She resided in Dade County, Fla. for 73 years before retiring to Georgia in 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Peachtree City. Memorial services will be on Thursday, July 13, at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City at 11 a.m. Survivors include a son, Hal and Mary Skinner, Glenn, Ga.; a daughter, B. J. Bjorkquist, Peachtree City; grandsons, Michael and Thomas Skinner; granddaughters, Tiffani and Mark Dhooge, and Billi and Shane Rinaldi; great-grandsons, Dalton, Jameson, and Braedon; and sisters, Barbara Manley, and June Barnes. Memorial donations may be made to the T. J. Redmond Scholarship Fund at First Baptist Church of Peachtree City, 208 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.
