When the session was over, the City Council unanimously approved raises ranging from 10 percent to almost 15 percent for three of the city’s senior staff. City Administrator Richard Ferry sees his salary increase from $60,000 to $66,000, while Public Works Director Randy Padgett netted a 14.9 percent increase and sees his salry rise from $39,140 to $45,000. Code Enforcement Officer Bob Werner also got a large increase and will now make $36,000, up from his previous $32,500 salary. Senoia’s closest municipal neighbor, Peachtree City, has nearly 15 times Senoia’s current population of just over 2,700. Peachtree City Public Information Officer Betsy Tyler said the current salaries for the three similar positions in Peachtree City are $119,649 for the city manager, $69,201 for the public works director and $52,741 for the senior code enforcement official.
