Chapman an undercover free-spending Democrat

The candidate Sam Chapman has told many that he is really a Democrat but is running as a Republican, just as his friend Robert Horgan did, just to get elected.

His ideas (at least the ones I can understand) are all big government. He thinks the county government should be Santa Claus to the citizens. But, he doesn’t have a clue where all the money will come from. Maybe he will fund it himself. He is trying to buy this seat.

His latest nutty idea is to have an equestrian center at the north part of the county. Yep, just what the citizens need. He says this will bring more rich people to the county. Huh?

Citizens, beware of this candidate. Listen to him and you will run the other way.

Just look where he puts his signs, which are larger than the law allows. He puts them up without permission. The law doesn’t apply to him. What kind of commissioner would he make?

We already have one know-nothing Democrat on the commission. Let’s not add another, because it is our tax dollars they will squander.

You must be stuck in the 70s, friend.

The big spenders are the Republicans now.

I guess people run as Republicans because they know that most Georgians would never consider a Democrat, even if it were their own mother.

Both parties spend like water now.

That is but one of the reasons the largest voting block, now, is the independent block.

Both parties better beware if a realistic 3rd party appeared on the scene.

Yeah, republicans and democrats are really same thing these days.

Both are sold out to big business although the republicans are worse. The democrats are too broad, they can't make any strong statement these days without alienating a signficant portion of their constituants. I guess that is why they usually don't say much at all.

I did say it had to be a realistic 3rd party.

Green ain't.

Give it a couple years. The upcoming generation happens to be significantly greener than previous ones. I imagine that alot of Dems (and maybe some Repubs) will be splitting off soon. The green party may not make it but their ideas mostly certainly will. They might just need a little repackaging.

there are also gonna be a WHOLE LOT of libertarians. Cant say i have ever met anyone that is in the green party, but i know a whole lot of folks that are libertarians. Hell, i dont care if you are green, libertarian, or communist... JUST VOTE 3RD PARTY!!!

The next generation is going to reject the dems and republicans. We have NO loyalty to them and they offer us nothing but the same old crap. They will lose all the current generation's support once they have to make good on all those wonderful promises made to the baby boomer generation.

To move from parties that have major issues to parties with even worse issues isn't a solution. It is jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

I do forsee another party. There are patterns that historically had a new party replacing an old one.

I believe the first to go will be the Democratic Party. The Republican will either change or be replaced by yet another.

But none of the existing 3rd parties are going to replace either.
