3 caught stealing from cars

Three teenagers were arrested early Wednesday morning after a citizen reported suspicious activity in Tyrone’s Tullamore subdivision, police said.

The call came in around 4 a.m. and when two officers responded to the scene, they noticed one of the youths coming out of a wooded area next to a home, said Police Chief Johnny Hay.

It was dark at the time, but when daylight broke, it became clear what was going on, Hay said. The suspects were caught with a digital camera and a laptop computer, and much of the other items that had been taken were also recovered, Hay said.

Arrested were Nicholas Luciano, 18, of Peachtree City, Anthony Infiorati-Finn, 18, of Peachtree City and Allen P. Sarbis, 18, of Atlanta, police said. Each was charged with three counts of entering an auto with intent to commit theft, Hay said.

The suspect who emerged from the woods initially told police that he had lost his wallet in the wooded area the day before and he had been using a flashlight to look for the wallet in the dark, Hay said.

Obviously these three kids (and I do mean kids) made a huge mistake, but they do not deserve to be labeled as hardcore criminals. These are ordinary kids that come from ordinary parents. One kid's father is a pilot. Family Man, I have grown up with these kids, and I can assure you that they are not, and will never be, "a constant threat and drain on society." Anthony was working TWO jobs and was about to start renting out a house. Alan worked a very respectable part-time job, as well as staying active in school with team sports. And manofgreatlogic, unfortunately, some kids do not have the same oppurtunities as others do. I know for a fact that Anthony's parents would not even help pay for college tuition, books, or room and board. Also, these kids have not even been convicted yet, so lets stop treating them as if they have been. This is America, not some Facist police state. You are innocent until PROVEN guilty. Not to mention, I keep hearing everyone say the police are understaffed and underpaid. Has anyone ever considered confronting the parents if you see a child doing something illegal (driving a golfcart underage or being home alone)instead of immediately calling the police? The police obviously have enough to deal with, so next time just try walking next door and saying "I am sorry, but I do not feel that it is safe for a child to illegally operate a vehicle, will you please take the safety of your child and the safety of others into consideration the next time you allow him to drive that golf cart." If they still let them drive illegally, then call the police, but chances are they will not. I think that as people grow older, they forget what it is like to be a kid. I am not saying that everyone went out when they were younger and broke into cars, nor am I saying that these kids should be let off the hook. What I am saying is that these kids are just that, KIDS. They do not think about the consequences their actions will have on the rest of their lives. We should not let one big mistake ruin these kids' futures. Give them a chance to prove that they realize what they did was wrong, and let them show that they are sorry and will never do it again. Alan, Accident and Nick stay strong, you can make it through this.

These three individuals are 3 men, not kids. If they continue to be babied, they will continue with their antics. How many chances do we need to give them - since this is not their first offense? The police found the items in their possesion, what is there to doubt? Let's help these individuals by calling them men, not kids, and making them accountable for their actions. There is still time for them to become responsible, respectable adults if we give them the chance and they are willing to take advantage of the chance society gives them. It doesn't matter what career their parents have; not everything that shines is gold, and no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. At 18 they can join the army, vote, pay taxes, get married...let's knock the "they are just kids" scenario. Let's help them by identifying who they really are!

WE live in america. And I love our country. Its to bad that in this part of our country we have more people who just talk some Sh*%. Anthony has only been to jail fighting with his parents who dont know how to handle him. Mr. Finn would rather talk a whole bunch of trash to anthony and when his rage would get the best of him and would start to beat his dad, his father would start to cry and get mad about his broken nail then call the police for unruley child. And everytime they would bail him out at there own expense. I will stand by my 2 brothers. No matter what. So what if anthonys italian, he had made me laugh so much he is so funny. I went to Panama city with that kid and we had a blast. ALAN I LOVE YOU BROTHER WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS>>>>>>>
I pretty much hope all you bible belt rich parents burn in h*LL! If any of you parents have anything to say to that you can Write me a little email.. MUSICMAN515@comcast.net

KEEP in mind if you email me i will not hold back.... family man, HARVEY, skyspy... and all other ill be waiting for you to email me and tell me all about how much better you are....

You can be angry all you want, but it won't cause us to cry one tear for any criminal.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Crime does not pay. Find an example of someone who is rich from breaking into houses.

I know several millionaires. They drive REAL expensive cars (no, a lowered Nissan Sentra with neon lights is not fancy). They have all the electronic gadgets you could ever wish to own, and travel around the world.

Unlike criminals, they are educated.

So, angry young "man", answer this one question: Where are these three young men enrolled for college this fall?

I'm glad you find Anthony to be "so funny" because he makes you laugh. Pretty sure you will end up in jail with him one day and you guys can make each other laugh all day long.

These Kids did make some bad decisions. But I have known all three of them for a very very long time. Alot longer than family man the first person who commented on the actions of my friends. And I just want to set some things straight. Anthony Finn has had some problems, we nicknamed him accident because he messes up alot but hes a great guy. Mabe if his parents did a better job raising him he wouldn't screw up so much. And second of all hes not a wanna be ganster and I have never seen any of them wearing due rags or trying at all to be Gangster. And hey Family man i dont like wops as much as you do but thats pretty low to go into there Heritage.... WE ARE ALL AMERICAN HERE BUDDY!!!! I guess the 4th of july means nothing to you because your to busy looking for some poor immagrents to screw over... ALAN is a great guy, my best friend and the simple fact is I would follow him into battle any day. I LOVE HIM AND ACCIDENT THERE MY BROTHERS... And you rich peachtree city adults have nothing else to do but sit around and talk about how everyone else is so much worse than you are. --- I hope some of your kids mess up really bad casue when they do all the other people will get to write stuff about you and your family.

I am sorry to say that one of the teenagers has been my neighbor for the last 8 years and that during that time he has been arrested for breaking and entering once before, in his own neighborhood. He has been arrested at least two other times that I know of since he turned 15. He is bad and nothing short of prison will be able to make him change his ways. Of course that is not an expert opinion, just a theory. His parents are nice enough and make a very nice living, in fact I bet many of the ladies in town know his father, because of his place of business. Unfortunately for his parents, they have had to expend significant reources to keep him out prison up to this point. He is a caucasian boy who seems enamored with the "rap" gangster persona. I don't know about the other two, but the one that I do know will be a constant threat and drain on society until he is held accountable for his actions and decides to alter his lifestyle.

They came, they captured, the little maggots (who were probably wearing head rags) are where they will be most of their lives. The good guys are back at the BP having a doughnut while the bad guys are eating green scrambled eggs, I like it.

"little maggots (who were probably wearing head rags)"

Nicholas Luciano--last name ethnicity of Luciano is primarily Italian, followed by Spanish (not mexican, Spanish).

Anthony Infiorati-Finn--Infioraiti, in this spelling is commonly found throughout Italy in a simple google search, including a festival of some sort in Sicily.

Allen P. Sarbis--not sure of ethnicity, sorry I'm not perfect.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but if I was Italian right now I'd be quite offended that you in any way insinuated that this crime was related to the race of the offenders.

Just strikes me we need to worry about the growth of crime and how to combat it; not guessing the attire of the criminals.

You are way to sensitive. Either that or entirely judgmental as are most bloggers are on this website (including me). You'll fit right in with Mudcat, McDonoughDawg, highgreen, biggun, bladderqueen, and the ferocious lion (in my day we called that thing a skint cat). What I think odd is that some bloggers on this site no longer live here. Honestly, I am tired of them and think it would be much better if they share their pithy opinions with the citizens in their own areas. The old school is no longer in session guys (Meow). Why do you think Clayette citizens, like me, are moving to this area in the droves? So move over Peachdale, we are coming to your city and guess what, "we plan to stay". Hell, it’s just a matter of time before we have our own "Little Mexico", but quite honestly the more diversity the better.

I'm not sure if you have kids newtoptc, but if you do and you plan on raising them in the bubble, take some advice from my grandma. She always said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when raising children. Be responsible as a parent. Don't expect this fine community to raise your children while you’re an absent parent. Unfortunately, many PTC parents have made excuses for their lack of good parenting and have already failed their children miserably.

Submitted by McDonoughDawg on Fri, 07/07/2006 - 7:27pm.

But I see no problem with calling out crooks when I see them. I'm not sure where you think i'm insensitive, but I've been called worse. If you think fancy talk about moving from Clayette scares me, get over it. I grew up in Clayton County. I'll say one thing, you will pay more to live here, and you will demand more of your fellow citizens.

Please. It's a college nickname and has to do w/ waterbeds. I do live in PTC, actually right smack dab in the middle. I like diversity and the food it brings. I think you have mistakenly lumped me in w/ the "Old Maids" and one day their wives will find out how much time they have for this and get them up a honey-do list. OR hopefully, they will get their batting avg up over the .500 they seem to get right now. They are true jack-of-all; masters of none.

Sorry for treading on your college nickname. I wouldn't appreciate that either. Like you, I also like a lot of what diversity brings to the table. As I don't want to discuss my batting average, I will end this particular blog.

"What I think odd is that some bloggers on this site no longer live here" Are we using our petty position and powers to see who these blogger are? That is against the law and you could lose your job.

You read what I said correctly, I'm just unclear as to why you had to repeat my comments. However, it is true that several of these bloggers no longer live here. I'm glad your paying attention. I must ask, are you part of the solution or are you simply a part of the problem? Blogging on this site adds a little spice to life. Maybe your not there yet, I don't know. Isn't that what its all about? My position in life is what it is, just as yours is (I guess you have a job).

Submitted by Sailon on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 8:14am.

I'm all for bickering and plithe commentary, even spicy at times and if I stick around this site will willingly take what I give.

As for my orignial response, if Harvey's comment was in jest and poking at head ragg then I likely came over a bit harsh, otherwise I was just making a point about how easy it is to make mental judgements without the facts.

As for, as I'm new maybe an introduction is in order...
Yes I do live in PTC, I am white, middle-class, male and have school-age kids and they will not be raised in any bubble. I moved to PTC as it was a nice area and I liked the feel of it compared to Newnan where my office is located, not to protect them from the world or themselves. They are and will always be supervised by my wife or I and are held accountable for their choices. I'm not perfect but it is MY job to raise my kids not anyone elses. If I fail it will be my doing and I hope that regardless they will forgive me for my attempt.

Criminals are stupid to come here. Tyrone's latest work is just another example of the good law enforcement here. Remember the woman at Kroger who was beaten with a rock? The Fayetteville Cops had the guys within the hour. Someone criticized the Chief for putting the Officers names in the paper but I think its great. They deserve the recognition. It will probably make them keep up the good work! Peachtree City cops caught the guys that had been breaking into cars out there last week. Great job guys, thanks! Look at the pictures on the Citizen's home page. The Sheriff is still making great drug bust inspite of the lack of support from the County Commission. I talk to some Officers at Mike and C's. Cops like working here because Fayette County is a great place to be. We should all thank them and support them for teaching the bad guys this is not the place to visit, unless you wanna live in our jail.

Yes, indeed. The arresting officers in that Kroger incident deserve recognition. GREAT WORK!!!

It looks as though our county and its cities will be needing vigilant police officers more than ever as crime is on the rise--both from other areas and "home grown."

I would vote to pay more in taxes if it was required to make their pay here truly competitive. I would like the departments in this county to be known among regional law enforcement officers as the BEST place to work so (wages, benefits, community support, etc.) that we could have the cream of the crop. (And it ain't looking too bad right now.)

Well need I say more except as we again see a couple of our misunderstood angels breaking into cars in the middle of the night. Let's see if I am keeping count in the last couple of weeks, Murder 1 arrested PTC kid, Burglary of 5 buildings 2 PTC kids arrested. Seems to me that what we have is a crime wave caused by our own children.

Now I am not talking about the 95% of the teenages that are just great kids and do the right things 99% of the time. It is these 5% that are trying to bring down the good life in PTC. And what will happen when they go to jail, well they will find that they are not tough at all and in fact will be some weight lifters boy toy.

Ask yourself where are the parents of these little misunderstood criminals ? I would guess they are off on vacation without junior, or to high at home to care where junior is or just don't care what he does because they are letting him be his own person and giving him space.

I bet if you asked the teachers that these criinals had in school they will tell you not only was junior a problem but the parents as well. Just remember the apple does not fall to far from the tree.

Our thug parents and their thug kids struck out again. Heeelllooo if you are an absentee parent with a thug kid who is "going through a phase" LEAVE our city, we don't want you!!!

If you have people like this in your neighborhood give them the cold shoulder. Stop inviting them to parties, stop waving and saying hello. Start to send them sales leaflets from trailer parks where they will fit in with their own kind. Have realtors in Riverdale call them with some good buys.
When you see their kid breaking the law, call the police everytime. If they leave kids under 16 home alone for vacation call DEFACS.
The stories we are currently reading in the paper are just the tip of the iceberg. They are not publishing the stories or arrest records of those under 16. Everyday our police force handles vandalism and property damamge caused by worthless kids under 16. Lets take back our city. I have said it before and I will say it again; our police force should not have to serve as a high priced day care for idiot parents who can't figure out birthcontrol.

Submitted by head_ragg on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 5:07am.

I don't know the circumstances of why these kids did what they did, but most of the news is about out of county criminals comming here. example- the guy from Dekalb that came all the way down here to steal purses out of cars in Worlds gym.
These were kids caught with the goods and I don't try to second guess what happened or why. But you make it sound like the kids here are bad and they aren't.
I have heard some ridiculous stories about what the police have done to good kids here. Either the police don't have enough todo, or they are jealous of these kids, or simply go after the helpless. But I have heard some very unreal stories by some very creditable people. Enough that I wonder if they are requiring any kind personality test for the job to weed out the wrong types.

Submitted by rmoc on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 5:02pm.

My kids are perfect little angels...they go to church and participate in sports and don't do drugs, smoke or drink.
Who am I kidding, my kids are not perfect but I am lucky and the little things they do would not hurt anyone but them and my oldest when he breaks the rules fesses up so fast it makes your head spin. It is like his head will explode if he goes another day. The one secret is my kids aren't anywhere without adult supervision and we have a great circle of parents who check. The problems are the same as when I was a kid. The kids wandering at night and at the kids house whose parents are gone or don't pay attention. My kids know that I would not have any quelms about driving over to the pavilion to see if the car is in the Tinseltown lot or call the friends house to talk to the parents. I check the computer and email for inappropriate matter. It doesn't take a lot of effort...just caring. I am also glad we don't have a basement..our kids have a loft family room where they can hang out but mom and dad can keep tabs on the comings and goings. I trust my kids but am not a fool..and luckily my kids trust me enough to tell me stories that will make your hair curl about some of the kids.

I can't blame the cops for scaring some of the little brats. If their parents don't scare them then the cops are the next line of defense.

Submitted by skyspy on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 4:04pm.

Yeeaaahh right thats a good one! Our police force is so understaffed they do not have time to harass the bad birthcontrol failures and their parents; much less the good ones. The best one is "they are jealous of these kids" Yeeaaahh right everyone is jealous of a little worthless scum who will never amount to anything. Yeah thats it, thats the ticket.
Actually these worthless thugs that no one wants, will have some big job titles some day.We should all have respect for that: for example:
Lead Prison Garbage Cleaner
Head of Toilet Bowl Cleaning Crew
Chief Dishwasher-in-Charge
or if they really mind their Ps and Qs
Lead of the Prison Road Clean up Crew

Thats it, we really do need to have more respect for these birthcontrol failures(oooopppsss I'm sorry I mean angles)

You are sick for applauding crime. You are writing this from prison are'nt you???? I knew it...we need the tent sheriff here.

tell you an outrageous story about my child too. I have a model child with very good values. He is always the one that helps everyone else and has never given me a minutes trouble. He wrote an essay on drugs that won a county prize in the area we moved from. He is very well respected by other kids and his teachers.
Some of the Tyrone police are good. I won't paint everyone with the same brush as you seem to be doing the children. But I will say I think that some of them shouldn't wear a badge and I would worry if my child was left alone with them in charge. I won't go into detail but I feel they used horrible judgement and my child was put in danger and humiliated and worse could have happened if I hadn't come along. My child doesn't lie and he didn't start that day either. I respect him, and I don't the two officers in question.

Submitted by skyspy on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 4:11pm.

Your kid is playing you for a fool. Sadly I see he should not have to work to hard at it. Kids lie all the time and they bet with their friends to see how stupid their parents are and how much they can get away with. Stop making it so easy for him to lie to you.
You are wrong about the police here they do not use brutality like NYC or Chicago cop. (even though sometimes it looks like it would help)

Submitted by gailonesi on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 7:32pm.

for a fool. My kid tells me what goes on and he is honest. You just can't take it that some people have good kids. Why do you hate kids so much and are so willing to think they are all evil? Unlike you I believe in the good in people till they prove me wrong. I stress values to my child and my ex tells anyone, my childs best quality is that he has a good soul. It is not something we did, he has always been that way since he was small, he looks out for everyone else. More than once, people have remarked about how kind he is and they wish their child was more like him. He has his faults, but lying and labeling are one of them. You just can't take it that there really are kids like that out there. For you to feel the way you do, I think you have issues. You don't know my kid and you assume all kids are lying. I hope to God you are not a policeman for the harm you would cause.

Submitted by skyspy on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 8:07pm.

Not all kids are bad....but not all kids are good either. You seen to think all kids are angels, which they clearly are not!(helloooo last 3 weeks in PTC)
Most if not all of the crime in my neighborhood is committed by kids who are 16 or younger thats why you don't read about what is really going on here. The police and newspaper have a gag order if the thugs or criminals are under 16.
I hear kids everyday laugh about how stupid their parents are because they trust them. Are you one of the parents they are laughing about???
Maybe you are or maybe you aren't....
For what it is worth there is a pack of 14yr old boys in my neighborhood who have a nasty habit of breaking and entering after they have established the fact that you are indeed home.... they laugh and curse their parents for being stupid enough to stick up for them when the police are called. Cute but now I have a shotgun that evens the playing field. Not a threat but a friendly warning....I will defend myself when my life is threatened.

Submitted by rmoc on Tue, 07/04/2006 - 9:19pm.

A bunch of kids playing a prank leads you to a shotgun. The chance of someone getting hurt is high. A bb gone is a warning a shotgun is a threat. You deserve to be in jail..There is a big difference between kids being criminal and being idiots. You want to teach them a lesson then pepper spray will do the trick. I am sure we will see you on the front page soon. You give all gun owners a bad name.

Submitted by skyspy on Wed, 07/05/2006 - 6:28am.

Depends on who you ask. Obviously I would only use a weapon IF my life was threatened. These kids have "played" with guns in the past and shot at several neighbors pets. They think they are being "funny" and so do their parents. I disagree.
Even if they break into my home, if they do not threaten me with a weapon obviously I would use pepper spray, and have several canisters just for that purpose; then I would call the police.(if they had not already tripped the alarm by breaking in).
The real problem is it will be hard to tell the difference between a BB gun or a 22 in the dark.
The last time they pulled this they did not get any further than the yard, because our police officers are the BEST!! The first squad car pulled into my drive as I was talking to the 911 operator. He was followed quickly by 3 other squad cars. They rounded up these punk thugs in under 4min. that includes the time it took to call 911. I don't think you could get that kind of service anywhere else in any city even if the police dept. itself was being broken into.

Submitted by gailonesi on Wed, 07/05/2006 - 7:23am.

A lab is good cause they won't hurt anyone, but they are big enough that someone sees them aren't gonna take any chances. We have always had dogs and it has kept people away. The last place we lived, the houses on either side of us were robbed, but no one wanted a barking dog at their heals, much less to stick around to see if it was gonna bite or not.

Rmoc. If Skyspy shoots the kids for pulling pranks in his yard then he is an ass. If he shoots them as the are breaking and entering his home or stealing his car then he is an honorable public servant. Skyspy was very clear about how he would use his shotgun. He clearly meant that he would use it on the pieces of s*&t 14 year old scumbags if they broke into his house while he was at home. He must take em out without hesitation. Entering a house is criminal and does not fall into the idiot category. Well okay it's both.

If they are only being idiots and pulling stupid punk teenage vandalism stunts then the dry chem pinata trick oughta do it. So maybe you owe Skyspy an apology on this one.

Submitted by rmoc on Wed, 07/05/2006 - 8:16am.

If you shoot a bunch of unarmed 14 year olds and kill one, you are going to jail even if they are breaking the law. If the kids are armed or they are adults the story could be different. The nice thing about pepper spray is you can leave canisters all over (since most are child proof) and not risk killing anyone like leaving guns around. This cowboy language is not good. How can you tell the pranksters vs the dangerous in 30 seconds..Chemical spray has not killed anyone, I think and is pretty darn effective.

I'm not sure where you get the"cowboy" language from, but I think I have made it very clear that a weapon is a very very very last choice and only if your life is threatened. I have resovled every instance of criminal tress pass and breaking and entering by letting the police handle it.
Our police officers are the best!! It is about time our city council and sorry drunk city manager start to support Chief Murray so he can maintain the same level of security we all enjoy.
I hope you never know how frighting it is to have someone attempt to break into your home. One man cannot take on a teenage boy much less 4 of them. If people care about their kids they will teach them how serious this really is. Teach them that crime is not a joke, if they point a BB gun at someone in the dark it could easily be mistaken for a real gun. Let's just agree to disagree; you think crime is a great pass time for teenagers I do not.

Anyone breaking into my house will not be get the benefit of a friendly interrogation. Their intentions are clearly known at that point and the protection of my family comes first and my property second.

If I shoot a 14 year old entering into my house and I kill it I will not got to jail. I believe that law was altered in favor of the home owner recently in Georgia to protect the homeowner from being prosecuted. If I am taken to jail for protecting my family it will be for an extremely short time while the police sort out the facts. This is a price I am willing to pay for the protection of my family and property.

Secondly the cowboy language I use is the only language these pieces of s*&t predators understand. It is also the language and mentality that keeps them wondering whether someone like me lives behind door #1 or whether someone like you lives behind door #1. If you believe so strongly about this issue then why don't you put a sign in the front of your house stating the following: This Is A Gun Free Zone. Firearms Will Not Be Used To Defend The Lives Or The Contents Of The RMOC Household." Soooo...you should be very thankful for the cowboy language that has made this country so strong in the first place. Cowboy language protects your family and home whether you like it or not.

Finally. If someone is smashing in your window in the middle of the night and you have a can of pepper spray on the table with a 12 guage shot gun next to it which one do you really think will protect your life. I can assure you that it's not something your going to want to discuss with the predator as your crapping you pants in a mere 30 seconds.

Thanks big lion. I think we are the only people who hate crime.

Mine has never done that, nor would he be around anyone that did that. That is so far off the beaten path for us. When my child was little, he spent 14hr in day care for me to work 12 to save our house for weeks at a streach. He has been through some ruff times, and I hated every bit of it for him. Parts of his childhood he never got to have. He has always had to be an adult. He has very few times had the luxury of being a kid, much less a misbehaved one. He has turned out well, he was always been my little soldier and never complained. Maybe that is why he has so much empathy for other people. I know my child is a good person. He has proved it so many times.

I wish the best for you, and I wish we had more parents like you!

I could have given him more of me. I have seen kids like you were talking about. I have also seen some little guys I would consider the walking wounded. Some people have them to go with their new house and husband and then loose interest. One of the few times I ever caught my child in a lie was about another child. This kid's name was Ronald and I will never forget him. He was such a sweet little thing. His parents were Oriental, and sometimes they decide things among themselves about divorce that don't involve the courts and seem very strange to us. Anyway, his parents had 2 boys. Each parent decided to take one child and the boys would never see each other again, nor the other parent. Ronald's Mother was young and dated and didn't have time for him, and her relatives had gotten tired of keeping him. He came to spend the night with us and wound up staying for over a month! I felt so sorry for him I didn't know what todo. He had lost his brother and Father and his Mother had all but abandoned him. He use to tell me, for no reason, how much she loved him and it was all I could do not to cry. More than once I called her and told her how much he missed her. She would always say how her 2 jobs didn't leave her any time to come get him and other excuses. Then after a month or so, I gave Ronald a birthay party and invited his Mother. My son, who in earlier years, had led a dogs live because we had no money and all my time seemed to be sucked in to making ends meet, was ready for Ronald to leave. He wanted his Mother all to himself. Ronald's Mother came to the birthday party and it was apparent even to my son, she intended to leave without Ronald. The kids went outside and soon Ronald came in crying that my son was mean to him and telling him to leave. My son lied and said he didn't and looked me straight in the eye. His friends backed him up. I took one of his friends home and left my son, I knew he was lying and his friend confirmed it. When I came back, I only had to look at my son and he burst into tears. He knew what he did was wrong and he was ashamed. As for the Mother, when she tried to leave without her son, I told her she must take him. She, also started crying and said she was going to meet her new boyfriends parents and that they thought she had no children. Stunned, I said Ronald is a part of you and loves you. What do you think will happen to him. She explained that in time, after she married this man, she was gonna spring Ronald on them.
That woman left my house thinking how inconsiderate I was making her take her child with her. So you do see, I know there are people like that, but some of these kids have paid the price for their Parents selfishness. I think of Ronald from time to time and I hope so much he is loved, where ever he is.

when I was growing up, my Father did me the same way. He talked to me about what was right and wrong. He was my best friend. I could, and did, tell him everything. He was a wealth of info and I always respected his judgement. That is how I have tried to raise my child, but as I said, a lot of it is, he just hatched nice from the start. I am very proud of him. Maybe if someone had treated you that way, you would have different views.

Now I am really laughing. Your comments that a police officer would be jealous of spoiled brat kids is really funny. My neighbors have kids that would not know the truth if it bit them in the butt. I listen to them tell their parents lie after lie after lie and the parents think they are listening to the burning bush. Even when they tell teachers that "the dog ate my home work" parents will write a note saying it is true. Kids lie because parents lie, and the best lessons are learned at the knee of the master.

No one does anyhting to good kids. They are the ones that go to church, play in the school band, play sports and work part time to help their parents. If you read the paper you will find that most crime now in PTC is done by locals. By reading the news paper you will also find that the police department is under staffed and under funded and really does not have the time to follow good kids around. But if you believe the dog ate their home work, you will belive anything. When you use the word creditable please make sure it is not the parents of the kids that never do anything wrong no matter what. I am sure if you were to check with the teachers of these kids you would find a different story.

Some kids here are very spoiled and are a bad seed. One day the parents will get to visit them on Sunday, the day that the state prisons allow visitors. Then they can listen to junior tell them how the world is wrong and they are right and they are just being picked on because they drove a BMW in PTC.

First of all dear to do is two words not one. Second, you shouldn't speak of anyone's credibility until you can spell it or you lose yours. Most posters here support law enforcement because of the article which precedes these postings. You don't. We get that. No need for all the police bashing and doughnut cliches. You stated your position already. No need to beat us over the head with it.

It is a shame that we have our biggest investment in our homes in PTC. It is a place we selected because of the quality of life, good schools and low crime. Low crime now let's discuss that a little. People need to stop looking the other way when parents allow their brat kids do anything they wish and we decide not to do anything about it. I for one always call the police when I see neighbors allowing their kids to just as they please. Such things as underage gold cart use, a big drinking party when parents are out of town, skipping school, drunk parents at their pool with yelling and screaming at 1 AM.

My investment in my house and my family being able to live a normal life is very important to me. Go ask a teacher about the bad kids in school. Ask about how those parents get the schools to do anything they wish because of threats to call DeCotis. I really feel for him because he is the one that can never win. Just look how we break up the school system to keep parents happy. 30 kids in one class in one school and 15 kids in another class at a different school just to make sure parents are happy. Don't think it is true, check it out.

Crime is something that once it takes control, you will never get back your community. Crime is like cancer, it continues to come back just when you think you have it licked. Don't think it will happen here just take a look. Weak DA when it comes to putting bad guys in jail. Hey he was a defense attorney sence Christ was a Corporal, think he is going to change. More crime more court cases. More court cases more deals to keep the cases out of court. When that happens more criminals come here to do crime because they know they will not go to jail. More drugs, more gangs, more property crime, more persons crime and the rest will be history. I f you decide to put your heads in the sand and think it is not happening, ask your local law enforcement about what is going on. Don't play stupid and one day say "Gee what happend to this great place I wuse to live in".

2012 Peachdale had the largest crime increase in the entire State of Georgia. Home values decreased 30% as crime is out of control on the path system.

Just think about that and keep saying it can not happen. The experts in the field have stated what they need in the County, Fayetteville, Tyrone and Peachtree City to keep us safe and crime under control. We continue to ignor them as if they are not talking in english. I guess the elected officals would rather sit around drinking beer and talking about how smart they were to get elected.

We need to keep hounding our city council until they support our police chief. If the people on our city council think property damage is funny perhaps we can give all of the satanic thugs in this city directions to their homes so they can enjoy the "fun".
