Re: Arrest of Youth Pastor in Tyrone

Why did the arresting officers take the news media with them to the arrest? Was there intent to try their case in the news media and find this person guilty before a trial? Has the media investigatied or reported that Kyle had not been in the chat room for over 1.5 months when he was arrested? Check the real facts! How could he have made a
"real date," to meet this 14 yr. old, if he had not been in the chat room for over 45 days? Not all the "real truth" of the investigation has been told. Only the side that makes "headlines," and helps the prosecution's case!

What Chat Room was it? I believe I read she was trolling an adult website not lurking in a children's site. I can't defend some of them & their obvious lack of judgement but I do think some "role" playing may be a defense.

Hey Big Guy it seems to me that you don't know what you are talking about as no one really cares what you are guessing. The fact is you don't know, and you are doing just that, "guessing". The fact is the press was not with the police department when they arrested the pastor. Please read a blog that looks like it was written by someone at the police department who states that fact. As a attorney I see first hand arrests and public information about the PD. They keep us all in business with there arrests and the information they release every week. In addition, I did see the police department all over the news, on every station, talking about the murder. Did not look like they were trying to step aside from the bad stuff at all. In fact I saw them on TV giving an interview at the court house after the arrignment of the suspect. Also saw the Chief on the news at the scene talking about the murder. Seems to me they were up front on all the facts they could give. Why don't you say that their arrests for the Burglary and the guy they caught from breaking into all the cars during the same week, was also a smoke screen for talking about bad stuff in PTC. ( read the news articles in the Citizen).

It appears to me that you are the one that has a problem when you are seeing only what you want to see. The police department is always on the news reporting crime in the city. I have talked to all the reporters both in the print media and the TV media, and they all say the PCPD is the only police department in metro Atlanta that sends out press releases on every major crime that occurs in the city. In almost all those cases, the press would have never found out about the crime if the PD had not reported it to the press. Ask John Munford about the release of crime stuff to him as he is the one that reports on crime in PTC of this paper. Come on John tell this jerk about how open the PD is on crime in the city. I am willing to accept what he says in regard to the PD's reporting of the "bad stuff" that goes on in beautiful PTC. Maybe you need to ask questions like I do before you run your mouth with no facts except " your talking like a man with a paper a------).

Ok now it is time to identify yourself. Let us all see who you are and why you continue to make up stuff that only you can enjoy. Arresting a pastor that was after our children in PTC, is not good news, nor was it a smoke screen. Maybe you are afraid the PD will find out what you are smoking to come up with "YOUR GUESSINGS" in the future.

The fact that the pastor was arrested was a good thing. I have no doubt that he was looking for children online. The timing has been a problem for a lot of people. You see, Peachtree City hates bad publicity, so when a young man shot and killed his friend at a party, Mr. Murray had to think quick on his feet for a way to get the attention off of the "bad stuff" so he (I'm guessing) got his people to jump on this case (that they had been working for a while I'm sure). Having the media with them was NOT a coincidence, that's for sure.

First you said he was contacting her for sex because he only wanted to talk to her and help her. Now you are saying he hasn't used his computer in over a month.

I would like to clear up this incorrect information so that people are not confused. The media did not go with the PTC police this day. Please, do us all a favor, before you spout off at the mouth claiming you have the facts, do some research. You're opinions are appreciated, but not your misleading, incorrect information.
