Peachtree City’s newest restaurant has fully re-opened after its kitchen was shut down due to ventilation problems.

City fire officials shut down the Three Dollar Cafe’s kitchen Friday night after an incident caused a large amount of smoke from the kitchen to enter the dining area, said Fire Marshal John Dailey.

The restaurant’s bar was allowed to remain open, and this morning (Friday) the fire department re-inspected the building and allowed the kitchen to re-open with appropriate repairs made.

Dailey said restaurant officials were very cooperative during the process.

I saw the dark structure last week and thought, "it went out of business already?" I hope they get better at everything, because I have stopped in twice, and was dissapointed at best, both times.

It almost looks like it. I don't remember a new restaurant in town ever getting so much bad publicity.

I don't get why anyone would want to support a restaurant that has bad food, bad service, and bad management. I'm sorry, but everyone that I have talked to about the $3 Cafe has had a less than stellar experience. My own experience was quite bad. I'm not going in there to drop another $30 on a meal. There are just too many other good choices out there.
