Look where you are going!!!

Just wanted to post something to all those "golf cart" drivers.
I was at the Publix shopping center in PTC on Tuesday and, thank goodness I was obeying the correct speed limit and, being extra careful.
As I was driving through the parking lot TWO golf cart "Ladies" pulled DIRECTLY out in front of me. Did not even glance in any direction to see if an actual CAR was behind them. If I had been going any faster they would have been toast.

If you are going to drive one of those things PLEASE look where you are going. It bothers me that you folks let kids drive those carts too. That's fine if you are in your neighborhood. But, to be in a busy shopping area I think that is NUTS.
The police caught that city officalguy with his drink but, they can't seem to catch folks zipping in and out of parking places with no regard to safty.
I speak of this because years ago my nephew was killed riding a go cart. He didn't look before he went through a stop sign. Just zoomed on out.

I drive a small car so maybe I wouldn't do that much damage but, there are a LOT of SUV's with people talking on their cell phones that could cream one of those golf carts.
Heads up people!!
LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING...
PLEASE.
Best to all. (*

Seems like we're always in a hurry. Everyone needs to slow down in all aspects of their lives including golf carts and vehicles. Why on Earth would you be in a hurry on a golf cart? For many it's suppose to be a relaxing way to get from here to there. But there are those who want to see how many stupid mistakes they can make. SLOW DOWN, people! Parents: You think your child is behaving themselves on the golf cart you are wrong, wrong, wrong! Just yesterday there were four teens in a golf cart and they were standing up while the cart was in motion!!! Even the driver was standing! There was no tag on the cart or I would have reported them. I'll give the "golden oldies" their time: Those golfers who need to get to their tee time promptly should leave their house a bit earlier in the morning! I don't know how many times I've been forced to leave the path so I don't get hit! Let's share the paths and roads and use common sense once in a while.

I almost hit two young girls who looked to be maybe 15 or 16 yrs old on a golf cart today in the Hwy 74 Publix parking lot. I was going up an aisle and the young driver backed out of a parking space really fast just as I was coming by. Then she slammed on the brakes really hard. I looked in my rear view mirror as I drove past and she was pulling back into the parking space and hitting her brakes hard again. I don't know if she didn't know how to drive or if she was doing that intentionally, but they do need to be more careful. I didn't even see them until they came flying out of that space backward.
Parents, please don't let your children drive those things unless they have been properly trained by you.

You know, compared to my bike, those golf cart things are like SUVs. People go around blind curves at full speed taking up the entire path (its hard not to)

Some day some biker is going to get creamed. Hope it isn't me.

An especially bad segment is the blind curve behind the McDonalds dumpster near 54 and PeachTree Parkway. They should put a sign up or something. I live in fear of that segment.

There is an uneven path with a fast curve near us.

Sometimes they come down the hill one little bounce place literally makes all wheels leave the pavement.

In the curve, more than once, carts left the path and have gone down the bank.

Carts can serious hurt, even kill, someone.

Many don't think about a limb down in a hard to see place and what hitting it at a fast speed could do to a cart.

Keeping it real and to the core of the issue, not the peripherals.
