FIVE GOOD REASONS TO VOTE FOR DUNN:

1) HE CARES ABOUT THE TAXPAYERS: He only spent what was absolutely necessary on lawsuits ($650,000 + +)...

2) HE CARES ABOUT LAW ENFORCEMENT: He only let a little bit of personal information concerning a drug agent "leak" to the AJC...

3) HE CARES ABOUT THE LITTLE PEOPLE: He only cut county employee benefits by a "little"...

4) HE CARES ABOUT THE INTEGRITY OF THE B.O.C.: He only uses his position as chairman to go after people he REALLY disagrees with...

5) HE CARES ABOUT THE TRUTH: He would love to quote the cost of the latest county audit, but he can't due to pending lawsuits...

WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?

GREG DUNN ONLY CARES ABOUT HIMSELF!

Hey, this guy only has two purple hearts and several other awards for valor while serving two tours in Vietnam. Clearly all he cares about is himself . Why risk his life for anything??!!

After Commanding a Battalion in the 101st he really needs to play sheriff so he can feel important and, oh yes, he was the Provost Marshal (Chief of Police) for the Ft. Campbell and all the troops of the 101st. Yes as the commander of the peace-keeping force of MPs in the Sinai and Commander of the U.S. Army Correctional Brigade at Ft. Riley, Greg needs to be in charge our relatively small County Jail. That will make him feel important!!

Oh yes, as the Coordinator for Joint Forces for responding to Hurricane Andrew it must be that Greg clearly needs to have his ego stroked. The fact that he was in charge of details for President Reagan when went in the Caribbean is just fluff. He needs face time with the public in Fayette County to make him feel like he has made a contribution to life and his country.

Nah, Fayette County doesn’t need anyone with that kind of experience. Let’s make a change back to the "Good old days of Fayette County.” It is easy --- responsibility and accountability are irrelevant. Sure, let’s have the “Good old days.”

Love ya, babe, but this election is not about Vietnam and Reagan or the MP's.

This about Fayette County. Greg has been a good leader. Let's re-elect him (or not) based upon what he has done for us lately.

What were the purple hearts for, lifting heavy crates? Commanded a Battalion? Come on Janet, Please. He was Provost Marshal for an army prison. Don't overreach. Greg does clearly need his ego stroked. Which was fine until it began to dig into the county cofer. We're not spending federal funds now.

My goodness! He sure is a great American, no doubt! He had such a good career in the Army...He should have stuck to that instead of making a political mess out of himself!

Why is Three Dollar Cafe closed? We went there this past weekend and it was closed? I wonder if they are closed for good or trying to figure out the issues they have been having?

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid level governmental functionary be it Democratic or Republican!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer, it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, try to do it in English.

I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor.

I' ve never owned a slave, or was a slave, I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting chased out of Egypt. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks and neither have you! So, shut up already.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Reverend Jesse Jackson practices, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution. (Can I get an AMEN on that one?)

I think cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my drivers license. I think it's good..... and I'm proud that "God" is written on my money.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents.
If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

Your sentiments are exactly the same as those attributed to George Carlin in the dozen or so e-mails I've received in the last several months.

You are OK. You would feel different about some of your observations if you or your family was on the wrong end of some of your statements.

What I understand from a friend of a friend of a friend that has recently been "let go" from Three Dollar Cafe is that they are having some serious problems. They have owners that are only in it for the money, which they don't need more of, and they were opened way before they should've been. My understanding is that the kitchen was not ready nor was the kitchen staff or the rest of the staff for that matter. The person put in charge of that did make several requests both before and after he was blamed for the problems for more counter space, more efficient equipment, more time to train his staff before opening. He did not get any of this, his impression was to get the kitchen up to par, it was his responsibility and he was given a short amount of time to do so. When he was unable to do so, even with all of his experience in this area, he was "asked to leave". Three Dollar Cafe's owners and managers do not seem to be worried about the fact that now their kitchen manager is someone with much less experience in this area, not saying he can't do the job but it will be more difficult for him as he was originally brought on as an assistant to the kitchen manager. They also do not seem concerned that word of mouth for their store is the food is not good, its high priced and it doesn't appear to be getting better only worse. But, like I said at the beginning of this, I'm only telling what I've heard from a friend of a friend of a friend and I don't have the other side of the story.

Three Dollar is closed due to problems with construction. The original ventilation system that was put in was to small. In order to replace the equipment the Cafe had to shut down for a few days to re-install everything correctly. We will be opening back up on Friday. As far as everything else goes the kitch is doing great.
