Give Three Dollar a Chance

For the last couple weeks I have been watching what everyone has had to say about Three Dollar Cafe and some of it is true and some of it is false. So now I would really like to set everyone straight. First of all as to all the people who have had to wait we are truly sorry. We are not a corporation chain so we had to work with out corporate trainers so the Cafe was working to the best of its ability. Not realizing how critical some of the customers are, it is now a regret as to how fast we opened. Within the first two weeks of bus. 4 managers were let go for numerous reasons. Yes we are still working out some of the kinks and have done our best to encourage all customers to come back and give us another chance. As to the air conditioning, yes it did quit working but that was out of our control. It has been fixed and we will have hope we will have no more problems. As to people getting sick at the cafe we have not had any complaints. That is all hear say. I wish that before the public is so critical they would give us an opportunity to prove what we really can do. We are working for the public and want all problems noted to the manager. Yes feedback is great, but everyone deserves a second chance and we will be here to stay for years to come. We have a fun atmosphere and lots of fun events to come. Thank you to all customers who have came in to our establishment and for your feedback, without you our business means nothing. Once again I look forward to providing food and fun for years to come.

In all I have learned at $3 cafe is that you have to wait too long for your food, which will most likely be the case since they can't even get appetizers out before meals, you will get it free. If you have the time to wait, just wait it out, have a few drinks, and then demand that you see a manager. Give them a time limit, and if you are going to leave they will give you a voucher to come back.
The other way to ensure you will not have to pay for your food, is eat half of it, or hell even most of it, and then ask for a manager and tell them that everything was wrong. They will want you to come back, and will comp your meal very graciously.
Also, If you are looking for beer, stick with American. They don't have half of the ones listed on the sheet, and half the time are out of what is on tap.
You might have a wonderful server, but there is nothing they can do about a kitchen that can't get it together. It isn't there fault the food isn't being made fast enough.
So, if you have the time, go, you can't do anything but have a few drinks and not have to pay for a meal, and probably get a voucher to come back.
I know. I work there and see it happen EVERY day!!!

I ate there a couple of weeks ago. The food and service was good. The manager checked on us and when we told him it was our first visit we got a free desert. My only complaint was the AC. If it's fixed I'll be back !

I think everyone needs to lay off the negative commets regarding 3 Dollar Cafe. We went there the other night and got our food within 10 minutes and our drinks never hit the bottom of our glass!! We had a good experience & the place was packed out! We have been there twice since it has opened. We have not gotten sick off the food as some people report!!!!!! Of course there will be some kinks to work out with every new restaurant that opens. What do you expect when the WHOLE COUNTY FLOCKS there to eat within the first few days and weeks of it being open? If only everyone would write in who has had a good experience!!!

To the tune of The Beatles' "Give Peace a Chance"

Everybody’s saying that it’s not great, long waits, cold plates, tough steaks, that’s the breaks, don’t have what it takes….

All we are saying is give us a chance.
All we are saying is give us a chance.

Everybody’s saying that the beer’s warm, flies swarm, poor form, forlorn, you’ve been warned…..

All we are saying is give us a chance
All we are saying is give us a chance

Everybody’s saying it’s a bad beginning, ninth inning, not winning, complaining, head spinning, poor spending, heart rending, mind bending….

All we are saying is give us a chance
All we are saying is give us a chance

Everybody’s saying that it’s the pits, on the fritz, not worth the trip, stale chips, channel flips, just as bad as This Is It….

All we are saying is give us a chance
All we are saying is give us a chance

Everybody's saying there's a dirty kitchen, waitress itchin', whose pitchin'?, clients ditchin', lotsabitchin'....

All we are saying is give us a chance
All we are saying is give us a chance

Everybody’s saying that they’re nauseated, constipated, fibrillated, germinated, terminated, they all hate it….

All we are saying is give us a chance
All we are saying is give us a chance

That was great, Muddleslinger!

And now...for an encore: (no "Free Bird", sorry)

Three Buck Café
(To the tune of “Yesterday”)

Finally
Opening their doors to you and me
Empty building since 2003
And then they opened
Suddenly

PTC
Lots of places to eat there you see
This place’s service and their quality
Need improvement
In PTC

Why’s my food so cold?
I don’t know I’ll ask the chef
Oh wait, he no-showed
I’ll just take this off your check…

3Buck Café
Drives their customer base far away
“Lousy food” is what I heard them say
Seems nothing’s good

Put Yuengling on the beer list, and I might consider coming back Smiling

If only it were available in Georgia. I heard they don't have the capacity to sell it here and that's with two or three plants now.

Someday though.

Until then, I have anyone I know going to North Carolina bring a few cases back.

But I promise, I won't get on my golf cart or behind the wheel of a car.

I may roller skate though.

That might help get a few people back to try you out again. Other than that all I can say is "OUCH". Glad my business isn't the 3 Dollar Cafe and your not doing my hiring.
