‘Tennant has history of bankruptcy, anger issues’Tue, 11/01/2005 - 6:24pm
By: Letters to the ...
Jon Shatto wrote a letter defending Dan Tennant’s record of City Council attendance, and his voting on taxes and spending. He also implied I was reported for “terrorizing” a child and I am hiding my relationship with his second ex-wife. I back up my comments with research and public documentation. He should do the same. My comments about Tennant’s record are backed with information from the Peachtree City Web site. I am the boyfriend of Tennant’s ex-wife; she is a fine lady and outstanding mother to their two children, who I too have a relationship with. There are at least eight other reports Tennant has filed against me and his ex-wife, all with no action taken. Just wasting our police force’s time and money, and legally harassing us. Last week I sat in the Fayette County Courthouse with one of their children, one that was subpoenaed from school by Dan Tennant to testify against his own mother. That case was also dropped. How much time and money did that cost the city and county? On the flip side, last year I sat in the same courthouse with the same child who stood up to the “Golf Cart Bully.” Dan Tennant, the father, had to catch a flight to Kansas City; I guess it was the last one. Mr. Shatto, I do care about city politics. Before I put a sign in my yard or vote for a candidate, I find out as much as I can about them. If any other candidate has a history of bankruptcy, foreclosed property, arrests, anger management issues, allegations of ethical misconduct or sexual harassment, let me know. Not all may rule out a candidate for service, but don’t you think if one person has all them, shouldn’t that be a sign of who they are? There are ethical, moral candidates available. So for your record, I am the boyfriend, I am interested, I have information, and I care who is on my city council and mayor of my town. Paul Schwanitz |
