$3 Cafe

The $3 café will suffer the same fate as the Buckhead Brewery. I had the displeasure to swing by there on Saturday around 7:00 PM and had to wait 25 mins for a table while I stared at empty tables; then they sat us down at one that was one while I waited. Waited 10 minutes for a waiter, the food took 35 mins once the order was in; the portions were small and overpriced, I watched the ice melt in my empty glasses while waiting for a refill. The place is only good is you want to drink beer, heck, I can do that at home for half the price!

They'd better hope Taco Mac flops even worse or they're done. It's amazing to think that something that PTC is so desperate for can screw up so bad.

$3++ better spent somewhere else!!

Worst food I ever had!! Mashed potatoes were cold, BBQ ribs were tough and way too spicy (could not eat it, my dog would not even eat it), my whole family was disappointed and just a lousy menu to top it off. Don't waste your time or money.

Three Dollar Cafe Not Worth One Dime

If The Three Dollar Cafe is going to make it, they better get better organized. My husband and I went there on Wednesday night (5/24). We were cool about the 25 minute wait... after all, it is a new restaurant. But after we waited for our food for 47 additional minutes, we decided to leave. We asked the waiter if he thought we would ever get our food to which he replied "probably not". Five other tables of patrons got up and left when we did. And, upon asking for the manager, we were told "she is in the back crying". It's a shame. It's a nice bar but if you're looking for food, don't go. We won't be back.

3$ cafe/fish sandwich

i had dinner at the 3$ last week and had an okay time. However, the bartender we had was as shady as they come. I asked for a miller light and rather than asking draught or bottle, the guy pours me a huge beer ($6). I sent it back. My date ordered a vodka tonic and again, the guy assumes grey goose and not the well. Heads up, out there. This guy will rip you off. FYI, Teds Montana Grill does an awesome fish sandwich on Wednesdays.

WHO WAS THIS GUY. SOUNDS LIKE HE DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO BARTEND!!!!THE BIG BEER IS 3.50 AND THE GREY GOOSE IS $6. GOOD LUCK TRYING TO FIND CHEAPER PRICES FOR BOTH AND IF YOU DO;TELL I WANT TO GO SOMEWHERE NICE AND BUGET FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!!

Great buffalo shrimp and my Son and I had a Grouper Sandwich that was very good. Did you let them know you weren't happy?

Bad lunch experience

My husband and I went to $3 Cafe for early lunch on 5/29. There were only about 10 people eating there maximum. We were greeted by 4 wait staff at the door, and seated right away. We ordered two lunch sandwiches and some buffalo shrimp as an appetizer. The appetizer came out in decent time, but after that, we waited for about 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, but apparently there was something going on in the kitchen. When the food finally did come out, both orders were wrong. We asked to speak with the manager who said that one of the cooks had called off sick, and that the kitchen was really backed up. She did not charge us for our food after we complained, but as patrons of the Roswell Road $3 Cafe for many years....we were very disappointed. This place is a joke from what I've read here. They have serious management issues. I have never have worked in a restaurant, but if I were the manager, and one of my cooks called in sick, I think "I" would get back there or send someone back there, and start helping the kitchen cook!

I won't go back there very soon.
