Greg Dunn - Save Yourself !Everyone thinks that Greg is Dunn. I think he has a chance to salvage his re-election. Nobody will argue the fact that overall Greg has done a very respectable job regarding zoning issues. That is a HUGE issue in Fayette County. OK. Maybe the developers might argue that. We give Greg credit for controlled growth and protecting the zoning ordinances. The problem is that your desire for power and control is clouding your judgment and you are not listening to us. You have a lawyer and his gang cheering you on and telling you that "you need to take a stand against the sheriff" and “whose in control here anyway". If I were McNally I'd be your biggest cheerleader too so I could bill the taxpayers’ pants off. Here's what you need to do: 1. Admit You Were Wrong. Publicly and HUMBLY admit such. People love it when someone is man enough to admit they were wrong and will confess such. That will really appeal to the people in the middle whom neither hate you nor love you but appreciate your stand on zoning. Go ahead and apologize to the Randall. Reasonable people can bring about reasonable results. 2. Dump The Lawyer. Throw Bill McNally and Company under the bus. Look at the horrible advice they have given the county and the costs associated with their greed and manipulation. Let them take the heat for this fiasco. If they were truly your advocates then they would not have allowed you to get stripped and whipped like they did. Chunk em under the bus and drive back and forth a couple of times so we can be done with em. Let them earn their monies doing real estate closings or maybe they could spread pine straw or something. Enact a little term limits on the County Moocher. 3. Support Your Local Sheriff. We want to keep our county's tough reputation against predators and scumbags. Let him focus on that and putting his problem (Bruce Jordan) in his place. 4. Stand Up For Fayette County On The ARC. We don't care how those other guys do it and your job should not be to see how many allies you can muster up for your future political battles. Protect Us. Just Do It. And maybe we won't get stuck with the trial lawyer and Chapman. Get Real's blog | login to post comments |
