Those ugly yellow signs ...

I have noticed that the state DOT has put up yellow street signs telling where roads are and where to turn for these roads. I think that having these signs is a bad idea.

The color of the signs could distract a driver and cause a wreck. I also believe that Peachtree City is not large enough to need these signs.

These signs are also very ugly in my opinion, and that they take away from the beauty of the city.

I know that the DOT is going to change the signs to green but I think that many citizens will agree with me on this, and if you can do anything to get even the green signs taken down, please take that action.

Okay, I know this is coming from a kid but come on! He doesn't even drive and he thinks this will cause a wreck. No, what causes the wrecks would be people not knowing where the streets they're looking for are because the street signs are hard to read or they're not there at all. So, now you have someone that doesn't know where they are and where they're trying to get to and they stop at the last minute to turn because they had no warning the street they needed was coming up and they're not going to take the time to go down a little bit to turn around and come back. Fayette County citizens whined until they changed the color, now they're changed and you're still whining because they are there. DOT is trying to help out drivers that do not know this county very well so leave it alone and use the signs!!! What's the worst that could happen? You might know your street is coming up before you actually get to it and not cause a wreck!!!!
