Tour de Georgia PTC

The pack of cyclists was indeed tight as they passed Lake Kedron on Peachtree Parkway during the Ford Tour de Georgia Wednesday afternoon. The bikers got a big cheer from nearby spectators as they whizzed by, but they were roughly a minute behind race leader Alejandro Acton of the TARGETTRAINING team, who won the Aaron’s Most Aggressive Leader award.

I enjoyed the start of the race & the festivities on the Court Sq but I noticed there was no provision for recycling cans & plastics. Hope the county is an annual stop on the tour. I also hope that organizers of all events will make provisions to help educate the public and make re-cycling a priority!
