WOW- It appears that the Sheriff gained a lot of headway once the court rulings came out- Bet all of you who voted for the commissioners wish you could take back your vote- But, it's not too late- You can cast your vote for Maxwell instead of Dunn in July-

I plan to vote for Eric Maxwell. After attending 2 events last week and talking to each of them at different events, I am starting to believe for the first time that Maxwell can beat Dunn. This thing was Dunn's to lose and he's done exactly that with his arrogance.

If you want to get right to the heart of his agenda, ask him what he plans to do about the Sheriff if he's reelected. You have to hear it directly from him to get the full impact of this man's arrogance.

Once you have crossed that line there is no turning back. It has been crossed so long ago that it cannot be seen from where one stands now. The biggest question is, can one sit still in a place of solitide when one is in the rocking chair and all is exposed? It should have been severed long ago as all have tried to incourage one to to. The ego is a strong and mighty thing, but it can also destroy the one who carries it as well as the ego strengtens it.

Come on and cross the line and stop talking in code...give us the nasty truth no matter how much it hurts...

particulary not the developers in Fayette County, and anyone that thinks he is just doesn't have a clue. I have known him for several years and he sincerely has the good of Fayette County at heart.

No one should fret over his being unduly influenced by any group, it ain't gonna happen.

I have been a long time supporter of Sheriff Johnson and I think he is and should be respected- HOWEVER- he has a thorn in his side that needs to be plucked and discarded. That thorn is causing an injury that won't soon be healed. Please Sheriff, do something to protect your reputation before it is too late to recover. With the way things stand right now, you have lost my vote...

The poll results are surprising. It is not surprising that Sheriff Johnson enjoys immense popularity. He is deeply respected. His popularity greatly exceeds anyone in the political jungle.

What is surprising is that the group of those polled prefer no one over the Commission. In essence, "Not you---anybody else "...

It would therefore seem that the political environment is such that the people want new Commissioners that will cease obstructing the Sheriff.

Yes the people want new commissioners but not the trial lawyer who would be unable to stand up to his developer supporters.

Do you think "stand up" was the right semantic to use? Think before you type!

If you've read get real's other postings, you wouldn't be surprised by their comments. They are ignorant, at best!

What are you talking about?????? What kind of politically correct garbage is this. I suppose the next thing will be your coming after me for erasing the blackboard. Who are you? One of the trial lawyers on the billboards? Gonna make an ADA claim out of nothing. So what your saying is that Emory blames it on race and Maxwell's going to use the ADA card. How shameless of you to make something out of nothing.

Just because Maxwell doesn't have an intimidating personality, doesn't mean he can't get the job done... on the contrary!
