Alonzo Abrams Jr., 59, Fayetteville, died April 12, 2006. He was born May 25, 1946. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served two tours in Vietnam. Services were at Providence United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Jimmy Ellison officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include a son. Alonzo Abrams III, Fayetteville; a daughter, Michelle Abrams, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Amanda, Alina, Lia, Natasha Abrams, Courtney Day, and Cory Lakin; and sisters, Harriet Wheeler, Garland, Texas, and Kathi Wright, Orinda, Calif.
