my friend, who is a police detective in clayton county, informed me that one of the bankhead projects is shutting down. everyone there received a voucher for an apartment complex in clayton county near mt. zion high school. the projects are getting one step closer to fayette county.

We all sound racist, but it's a fact that we strive to have a certain lifestyle here, and we DO NOT won't the projects at our county line. I thought (and I'm sure Get Real will corrcet me) that the State of Ga. has a plan in force that people living on welfare had to get a job or go to school, or they lose thier free ride. I realize that there is an older generation that counts on welfare to get them thru, but I am sick of seeing these young man sitting outside the projects drinking beer in the middle of the day. I travel to Atlanta daily, so I can back up what I see.
They say immgrants are taking jobs no Amercian want. What about these young men in the projects, are they too proud to work at Mickey Dees?

you are hilarious...i cannot believe in all my 31 years, that I am just now discovering that I have been raised in a racist city. There is no place like home. There is no place like home!

I Agree...You've been blessed by the lion. The only thing I might add is that the projects are already here. Look at Harmony Village.

Anywhere but here. Where there coming from is just as bad as the slums of New Orleans. The further away, the safer we are.
