Bunk Beds

I am looking for a new/ used bunk bed set. Anyone know the best place to look. There are a lot of places in the AJC but they are all distributers that have very high prices.

Have you tried Freecycle(TM)?? Freecycle is a national organization that is for recycling items you no longer want or need. I moderate the local Fayette County site and often members offer items such as bunk beds. I encourage you to give us a look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Fayette_County_Freecycle
There are groups in Clayton, Spalding and Coweta, as well.
It is a pleasure to share your unwanted items with others.

I have a sturdy loft bed that I am getting ready to sell. We have used it with a twin bed underneath (creating a bunk bed type structure). Call me at 770-486-1156 if you are interested.

We ordered a set of bunk beds from a company in the Orlando area. They are solid wood (no pulp wood anywhere), much better quality and more affordable than what we had seen in any local stores (such as Haverty's) and they have a pretty wide selection. Many of their models come with free delivery, and the delivery was very prompt for us. Here's their website:

Does anyone know of a local place where I might buy a good quality futon mattress (suitable for van "camping"?

The Verlo Mattress Factory in Peachtree City has all kinds of good quality Futon mattresses, in addition to regular mattresses.
