Have you tried Freecycle(TM)?? Freecycle is a national organization that is for recycling items you no longer want or need. I moderate the local Fayette County site and often members offer items such as bunk beds. I encourage you to give us a look at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Fayette_County_Freecycle
There are groups in Clayton, Spalding and Coweta, as well.

I have a sturdy loft bed that I am getting ready to sell. We have used it with a twin bed underneath (creating a bunk bed type structure). Call me at 770-486-1156 if you are interested.

We ordered a set of bunk beds from a company in the Orlando area. They are solid wood (no pulp wood anywhere), much better quality and more affordable than what we had seen in any local stores (such as Haverty's) and they have a pretty wide selection.
