I too got stuck, I estimate at 1:30 PM Thursday, that the line from Coweta County to the end of the line near the Luthern Church in PTC was about three miles long--not one cop anywhere either, but I did see one stopping golf carts at the Jr. High. I wouldn't go near there either if I could help it. I'm afraid, however, that you are being too gullible to think there will be little problems when the other side of the bridge opens. I didn't count them but there must be at least twenty entrances from both sides trying to get onto 54. Also, many people are cheating by getting in a turn lane and then crowding in at the last moment---the center lane to Newnan hardly moves at all when this happens repeatedly, and it allows others to crowd in from the side also. Total mayhem, no cops. If the Avenue developers will allow it, the TDK by pass might help some, but that is off ten years.
Horrible, horrible planning and acceptance of poor one-sided reports by hired planners of the past. Money, money, money!!!
