“American Idol” has one less contestant after tonight’s episode. The votes are in, all 32.5 million of them.

Fayetteville resident Paris Bennett has once again made it to the next round. Her rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “All I Do” on last night’s performance show had enough people voting for her to keep her out of the dreaded bottom three. Ace Young, Melissa McGhee and Lisa Tucker were the unfortunate three to hold that position.

McGhee, the 21-year-old from Tampa, FL, was sent home as the contestant with the lowest number of votes, but not before singing one last time. McGhee performed Stevie Wonder’s “Lately” for the live audience to close out the show.

Young, Tucker and Paris Bennett, Fayette County’s own rising star, along with the eight other remaining contestants will be back next Tuesday night at 8 p.m. to perform again. Check back here to find out how Bennett does and how to vote for her.

These three guys stink! McGhee may not have what it takes to be the next AI, but she scertainly out performs those three loosers.

Paris will be around for a while, but I'm not convinced she'll make it to the final three. She hasn't really taken any risks yet.
