Palin replaces Bush as the lead medical disorder

“When you’re convinced your political opponent is Satanic, you’ll jump to any insane conclusion about them.
Here’s Eric Robinson of Yale Daily News:

This brings me back to my issue with Palin. The name on her black memorial bracelet — one, like the gold star, a demonstration of a friend or associate who was killed in action — is that of her oldest son, Track. Track served honorably in Iraq, and both he and his parents should be thanked for his selfless service to his country. He is also alive.
Commemorating Track’s service by wearing a a black memorial bracelet which is reserved for those dead or even a red bracelet for those missing in action, demonstrates a horrifying contempt for those who gave their last full measure of devotion or an almost unbelievable ignorance of the importance of symbols in American history.

The Huffington Post grabbed this latest smear with both dirty hands.

But here’s Robinson’s update:

In my column in the News Wednesday, I criticized former Alaska governor Sarah Palin for wearing a black memorial bracelet with her son’s name on it, as Track returned unharmed from Iraq last fall. However, Sarah Palin’s bracelet was not black; instead, it was a dark brown “DeployedHero” bracelet worn by those who have loved ones currently serving in the military. The bracelet is different from the black one associated with men and women who are killed in action overseas. Recognizing this, I apologize to the governor and to any reader who might have been misled by my piece. I hope that this serves as an important lesson for anyone interested in the importance of these symbols.
Don’t forget that Huffington Post also peddled those sick theories that Palin wasn’t the real mother of her youngest son. You’d think they’d have been shamed into sense by now. But I think they’re actually insane.” Andrew Bolt..
I find it amazing that Liberals and Rhinos are so worked up over a presumed Presidential 2012 candidate.

Palinderangement Syndrome

I am sure they would like us to run and vote for another McCain look alike.. This time I think we will choose our own..Thank you very much.

Jon Huntsman", former Gov of Utah and current US Amb to China as the Republican candidate for President in 2012!

New subject: You got any opinion on Springfield Arms XD-40 (3 in barrel).

Springfield has a great rep and is very reliable. The 40 is weighted slightly barrel heavy for the recoil and smooth target re-aquirement.

It can feed all ammo and has no history of feed jams.. Overall a great choice.

Now you're blaming liberals and RINOs for nominating McCain!

The same thing is going to happen next time unless y'all drive all those RINOs out of the Party. If you could just shrink the Party down to the true believers you could nominate a real conservative like Tancredo. Of course you'd get slaughtered in the election, but it's better to be ideologically pure than to win, right?

The Dems tried that with McGovern. It's a losing strategy but you're welcome to it. I tip my cup of TEA to you!

I am speechless. I'll just link to the story and highlight some quotes.

Joe the Plumber: "McCain Used Me."

"McCain was trying to use me," Wurzelbacher said. "I happened to be the face of middle Americans. It was a ploy."

He says he dislikes McCain so much these days that he can't bring himself to support Sarah Palin either because she is campaigning for McCain's re-election.

"He said he appreciates Obama for his straightforwardness: "I think his ideology is un-American, but he's one of the more honest politicians. At least he told us what he wanted to do."

Speechless........

Kevin King, say it ain’t so? ‘Joe the Plumber’ had a fallen out with John McCain? John McCain was the father of Joe’s fame on the national stage. And now ‘Joe the Plumber’ is angry at Sarah Palin because she endorsed John McCain’s senatorial campaign. Perhaps Joe feels Sarah betrayed the values they once shared? I always knew Joe had a crush on Sarah. A sad and sorted, ‘Oedipus Rex,’ kind of affair, if I have ever saw one. Tune in again tomorrow, Joe is on Hannity tonight, thank you for tuning to Faux News, and we hope you enjoyed watching the Worm Squirm.

I always thought of ‘Joe the Plumber’ as the prototype for the ‘Teaparty’ movement. I remember during the campaign how either John or Sarah would introduce Joe to an audience. Oh how the crowd would cheer and howl. Like hyenas after poaching someone else’s kill. It was thrilling to watch!

The whole ‘Teaparty’ thing probably got started something like this. Dick Armey and his friend’s, from FreedomWorks, were sitting around one day, brainstorming on how to screw working people for the benefit of their corporate sponsors, when the subject of ‘Joe the Plumber’ come up. Dick said he needed a few more “Meat Puppets,” like ‘Joe the Plumber,’ to parade around for the cameras at all our political rallies around the county. The guys at “FreedomWorks told Dick, “Dick you’re a nice guy but you think too small. What you need is an army of Meat Puppets. We can provide the propaganda, fake statistics, web sites, training material, fake experts, and as many shills as needed to get things started. Roger Ailes, from Fox News has agreed to do promotions and communications. What do you think?” Dick Armey smiles and says, “Wow, the Dick Armey, Meat Puppet Army, say I like the way that sounds.” The “Meat Puppet Army” became the “Teaparty” and the rest is now American history.

What began as an honest protest of business as usual in Washington has been fractured by 'politics' as usual. Gort, many have viewed this show as you have portrayed it. Now we're watching the former Vice President tell us the Obama administration is all wrong - while the current commanders on the ground are succeeding in killing/capturing the organizers of Al Queda (9/11). The Tea Party Patriots woke up the current administration. Obama was elected to CHANGE! It became apparent that first his administration had to SAVE. Now he has to work with a Congress that is grid-locked (by politicians in both parties). America needs 'statesmen' in Congress. Persons who put the needs of the people above the 'next election'. The show goes on. Let's hope grid-lock stops - and the American people are served by those we elect.

Mark Meckler and Jenny Beth Martin, founders of the Tea Party Patriots, say they are proud of what the movement has accomplished, but they are frustrated that other Tea Party groups are being run by Republican political consultants forking over lots of cash for recruitment. The Tea Party Express, a conservative bus tour that crisscrossed the country last year, was run from inside a Republican political consulting firm. The convention was also dogged by infighting, with some protesting its $549 entrance fee and its hierarchical organization. Meckler and Martin did not attend. "It wasn't the kind of grass-roots organization that we are, so we declined to participate," Meckler said

Davids mom , I’m looking forward to this election cycle and watching the ‘Teaparty’ gone wild show. It will be interesting if nothing else. If the ‘Teaparty’ is successful and can actually deliver the House and Senate seats, I wonder if the Republican party will show their hand early and go after Social Security and Medicare right away or hold off until after 2012. I’m thinking probably not until 2012 unless they have enough votes to overturn a veto and I can’t see that happening, yet.

When I watch the ‘Teaparty’ people on TV, so many protestors look like they are old enough to collect Social Security and qualify for Medicare themselves. I just find it so hard to believe they would stand by and let those two programs be taken away from their own children and the grandchildren after them, for the sake of the ‘Teaparty.’ Hopefully it won’t come to that. The saga continues.

When it comes to Dick Cheney I still enjoy watching him blow up like a puffer fish every time he gets on TV. It reminds everyone how effective the last administration was.

Those old people you see.. Well those are the real Greatest Generation.. They KNOW they HAVE TO leave something for their grandkids.

That this administration running up MASSIVE RECORD debts that their Grand children will have to be TAXED to death to pay is just not right.

You see they are not the selfish me me me Generation.. They know a little pain now is worth it to save their Kids futures.. but you would not understand that..

S.Lindsey, what is with that new picture of yours? Didn't I warn you to stop drinking that Dick Armey tea? Now look at you, your hair fell out, you look emaciated, and your eyes are bugging out of your head. Go put on a shirt, eat a sandwich or something, and for crying out loud, do your homework on that Laffer Curve stuff. “T is easy” Ha, ha, ha, ha, my ribs still hurt from laughing so hard.

I don’t know why I’m going to tell you this, it can’t profit me in any way but what the heck, I’m in a good mood today and not even you can ruin it for me.

In one of your post I noticed you used the initials TP for “Teaparty.” If you don’t like people using “Tea Bagger” you will like them referring to you as “TP” only slightly less.

By the way, I guess congratulations are in order. When did you become the official spokesman for the greatest generation? Was you elected, appointed, or did you just muscle your way in with your charm and pleasant manner? Have a nice evening and we will talk again soon.

Not sure what it had to do with anything.. but I haven't noticed much difference any how..

Your little snarkie remarks on tea bagging shows all just how classless you are..

So I will say BITE ME and good night..

Take a look a FactCheck.org and their analysis of the Cheney/Biden debate. It's keeping the 'facts' honest that are being thrown out for all to see. I spoke with a lovely lady the other day - my age - that told me she wanted 'government' out of her life. I asked her if she received her social security check. She stated proudly - every month!! Then I asked her about Medicare - and she was so thankful that she had that coverage. I quietly stated that they were both 'government' programs. (No comment) Right now, Dick Cheney is the current administrations best friend! We're in the midst of important historical events - lets hope we do our next generation proud by not 'sitting this one out' and not planning for the future. We're in a mess - but Americans have proven that they are winners - no matter the challenge. Both sides have valid concerns – and intelligent, thoughtful, researched compromise is necessary.

Davids mom, I think you are right, we will get through this. I never bet against America and I'm too old to start now.
