The sponsor must have been more interested in sending an anti-big brother message than in selling the product - an Audi which got maybe 5 seconds.

There are plenty of legislators at all levels who would cheerfully enact laws that tell us how to live - according to their own standards. Peachtree City started down that road many times - the latest with telling us which trash collector to use and even added a mandantory recycling component. What ever happened with that? Our resident historians Haddix and Brown must know.

Yes, definitely creeped out...I wasn't drinking, but, for a moment during that commercial, was questioning myself!

I didn't see the commercial. We were flipping back and forth between the game and The Sound of Music - we love that movie! I must have missed the commercial during Doe...a dear...a female dear....(which has been stuck in my head all day).

About the article you linked: Absolutely ridiculous! Too much freakin' interference in our lives, kinda like the seat belt laws!
