Just rereading some of Loanranger's castigation's against Dan Lakly. What kind of moron are you? That man served honestly and gave everything to his constituents. We always knew he would tell the truth. Well idiot, he is dead now. Are you proud of all the nasty things you said about him?

Dan Lakly was the true gentleman and conservative the rest of our regional Republicans give lip service to. Indeed Dan is missed and we sure could use more like him in this day and time.

Speaking of which... I sure hope some Tea Bagger decides to run against our current congressman. If the Democrats weren't such runaway idiots these days and in the majority, I'd vote for one them against you-know-who in a heartbeat. If only to stir the pot.... Evil

I hear Obama and Company are looking deeper into the Bernie Madoff scandal. Well ain't that just great? The guy who made $50 Billion dollars disappear is being investigated by the same people who made $1.5 TRILLION disappear!!! Go figure. Puzzled

He was a wonderful person, would help you in a heartbeat if he could. I had to ask for his help one time and he didn't hesitate.
Just think...what a great governor or congressman he would have been!

We don't have anyone like Dan Lakly anymore.

I remember Dan standing on the corner of 54 & 92 with a sign that read Vote For Lakly. As cars would stop and look his way at the light... with a serious look on his face and making eye contact, Dan would flip the sign over revealing the words "Will Work For Votes". You couldn't help but laugh as he timed this episode with a big grin.

You gotta respect a man that stands up to scum like Billy McKinney even when having a blade pulled on him. Dan was hated by many for standing up for what was right. Paul Heard and Dan Lakly...... two honorable Conservatives that were Republican when being Republican actually meant something.

When Dan first came around alot of people thought he was blunt and rude. Turns out he simply called it the way he saw it and he usually saw it pretty straight. If he were around he would be my choice in Washington. He would be there for us and not his own ambitions.
