Cyclist:Public Apology

Hey Gang,

From time to time we sometimes let our feelings cloud our ability to blog in a civil manner.

After reviewing and re-reviewing an entry I made about our President I believe I crossed the line. Hack was right, I did disrespected the President and I should not have done so.

Now don't get me wrong, I still don't like the idea that he was willing to cut a deal in order to pass his beloved health care plan from which a lot of us were going to be the roadbed on which that bus was going to be driven on. If I had to do over again I would have stated that way and have been done with it. Unfortunately, I did not and here we are. Sometimes I wish I had that "take back button".

Anyways, I try mirror another blogger who went by the moniker of "Mixer". A lot of us that have been here at "The C" for some time remember Mixer for is ability to tell as it as it is without getting into verbal fisticuffs. He was a real class act and I miss him.

So there you have. I'll do a better job in the future.

BTW, I have met Hack and his family and they are very fine people.

Quite the serving of humble pie that you consumed there. To be honest, I was a little concerned when you posted that comment, so I says to myself, I have to go to the coffee to see if Cy really changed or if that was an exception. Both seeing you at the coffee and seeing this post have more than assured me that you have remained the true "Big Man" that you are (with the same disclaimer that Hutch used).

I kind of liked seeing you get on your high horse and tell it like it is! BUT, I don't think that is how you are made, so just go with what you think is right. You really seem like a really decent, nice guy, Cy. I hope you don't feel too bad about anything you wrote--it was still all true!
