Solve 1 eco-problem, create bigger mess

Madness, it’s all madness. We are being inundated with all sorts of advertisements regarding another of the global warming hoax problems. All of the products we are developing now to solve the nonexistent global warming problem cause other kinds of problems.

Street lights that are LED are not hot enough to melt the snow in the cities where it snows. So, sometimes they are shorting out because of the water that seeps in. Many motorists can’t see through the snow that accumulates on them and accidents are occurring. The old stoplights, not street lights but the stoplights (you know, red, yellow and green), used to melt the snow off of them because they’re hot. They warm up. These don’t.

Break a compact fluorescent light (CFL) and you’ve got a haz mat situation on your hands. Those “in the know” would have you leave your house because the mercury that leaks out is so poisonous.

Check out the nickel-cadmium batteries in hybrid cars that are one of the worst things ever invented. You talk about Styrofoam being a problem; these things will rot the Earth eventually.

Tried any of the new environmentally friendly paper towels lately? The ones that use eco-soft, green, friendly, recyclable paper? You can’t even pull them out of the dispenser. They tear off into little strips in your hand so you wind up with these tiny strips all over the place and you’re wasting all kinds of paper.

Our “Save the Planet” friends are creating all of these problems to fix a nonexistent hoax. Best of all, they will swear up and down, oh, it’s been proven; oh, they have consensus (despite all of the evidence to the contrary that our temperature has not risen in the last 10 years).

So, let’s talk about long-term trends. Ten years is a pretty good length of time. We’ve got one of the coldest winters in 25 years going on right now. Look at some of the stories. China just had record-setting cold and snow. The Midwest is bracing for heavy snow, wind chills of 50 below zero. Cold weather is packing hospitals. Twenty-two deaths have been reported from unusual cold in the U.K. In Texas it’s freezing cold, with record-setting temperatures in North Texas.

The supposed ice problem that we have, the ice pack, the sea ice, the nonexistent 40 percent loss that Al Gore had to take back just a couple of weeks ago. All of this stuff that they throw out there and just see if it sticks.

A good number of scientists are finally being exposed for their lies trying to find global warming that doesn’t exist, trying to fudge numbers, trying to eliminate certain numbers from reports that won’t prove their point.

You don’t see that Al Gore is making all kinds of money from this hoax? What could be their motivation? If they are not just trying to save the Earth, why would they do this?

Money. They’re making money. GE — do you think that really GE just brings good things to life? No. Not for some time now.

Google now wants to start distributing energy. They created a subsidiary last month called Google Energy. It then applied for approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to be allowed to buy and sell power much like utilities do.

What do you think the odds are Google, these progressives, should be allowed to do that? I think they’re pretty good. You can’t see what’s going on here? Really?

Any electrical source that emits light runs by a simple concept of electrons moving across a resistance and exciting the resistance medium to a condition that it emits light. The product of this energy consumption is light and the waste is heat. An incandescent bulb uses about 10% of its energy for light and loses the rest as heat loss. That is why an incandescent bulb is so hot. Fluorescent lights convert about 60% or so of its energy to light and the rest is lost as heat. LED's convert about 50% of its energy into light and lose the rest as heat. The difference for an LED is that the heat is directed behind the light source, not to its face. There are tiny tubes/pipets that channel this heat to the back. If the traffic light manufacturers would have installed the channels to direct the heat to the front of the fixture, then there would be ample enough heat to keep the front of the LED traffic light clear of ice and snow.

Dave Edinger adds to the madness when he suggests that scientific projections about global warming only apply to local conditions.

The projections are about GLOBAL warming not LOCAL or HEMISPHERIC weather patterns. A visit to the NOAA web site will show that 2009 was one of the warmest years in GLOBAL history.

The projections do not show that using LED's in traffic lights or using nickel cadmium batteries in autos or replacing incandescent light bulbs is a cure for GLOBAL warming. These actions are merely free enterprise corporations trying to make money by claiming to to be ECO friendly. As for Google selling power. Have we forgotten Enron and their connection to President Bush.
See, I trumped your VP Gore with President Bush.

Folks, global warming is a reality. It's causes and cures are still being examined and evaluated. Do not listen to those naysayers who deny what they do not understand.

God gave us one world to be stewards of. Let us handle it with care not politics.

Ok my Mexican accent isn't so good typing it.. but
Look at the Global Temp Widget..Link

The widget clearly shows a GLOBAL temp drop of 0.28C DROP that is averaged for the YEAR. I would love to see your data.. According to the NOAA website:

"The September 2009 average temperature for the contiguous United States was above the long-term average. The average September temperature of 66.4 degrees F was 1.0 degree F above the 20th Century average"

"The average temperature in September 2009 for Pennsylvania was 61.4 F. This was -1.0 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average, the 38th coolest September in 115 years."

"The monthly mean temperature at Harrisburg was 65.7 degrees F, which was -0.5 degree F below the 1971-2000 average."

So on one hand the report said it was up then it said it was lowest in 115 years... and that is just thru SEPTEMBER.. OCT-DEC was not factored in..

Swac check your facts don't let those smoke colored glasses stop you from seeing what is really going on..

"NASA has now silently released corrected figures, and the changes are truly astounding. The warmest year on record is now 1934. 1998 (long trumpeted by the media as record-breaking) moves to second place. 1921 takes third. In fact, 5 of the 10 warmest years on record now all occur before World War II. Anthony Watts has put the new data in chart form, along with a more detailed summary of the events."

Look at the REAL DATA..

Man-made global warming is a myth. For some though, it's a religion.
The very idea that mankind can make significant parametric changes to the Earth has to be the height of arrogance. Nonetheless, there is much at stake in getting people to subscribe to the global warming religion. There is so much at stake that some scientists, using government grants, are fraudulently manipulating climate data and engaging in criminal activity, as revealed in what has been called "Climate gate."

Political commentator Henry Louis Mencken warned that "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed -- and hence clamorous to be led to safety -- by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary." That's the political goal of the global warmers.

"If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." - Samuel Adams
