Tug

I had a great time meeting so many of you yesterday. Biggest surprise was S. Lindsey. What a nice guy! (And like Carbon said, he is prettier than you would picture him.)

It was great to meet Hutch, Jane, Dawn, HomeGym, and Mike King. Your blogs take on a whole new meaning now. I also got to know Wedge, Carbon and Cy a little better.

Jane -- I hope you get your computers figured out.

is what I had this morning at coffee. Skating at Centennial was fun as well. I got to know more about you all, learned that Spyglass was a woman (never knew that, once again assumptions), learned faces for Steve, Mike, Gym, and Jane, and discovered that Dawn has beautiful chlldren that get their looks from mom. I am looking forward to the next gathering where I hope we can hang and socialize outside in good weather.

I had a really good time meeting Gym, Mike King, Jane1, Dawn, and S. Lindsey (who is better looking than I imagined him to be), and seeing the others again. It was an interesting crowd for sure and I appreciate the hospitality shown to the carbonunit. Good people, good conversation, good coffee, all part of my good life. For me, meeting in person highlights the fact that we have much more in common than we have in disagreement, and the second law of carbonunit dynamics states: "More is better when in common is the topic".

I enjoyed it too. Very interesting group of what I would call opinionated but open-minded folks.

I really enjoyed the meeting. What an interesting bunch of folks you all are! By May I should have that ab lounger cleaned off and might even use it a few times - if I could just stay away from the cheesecake (came home a while ago, helped myself to a piece of cheesecake, and cut my tongue licking the knife - not too bright!).

I always wanted one of those. Does it really work? Or is it just another gimmick?

It would probably work if I actually used it; but as it sits, it's a great 'catch all'. I'm going to use it pretty soon in the near future - just not today....really, I will.
