The abortion issue is kinda in the gray area...there is no clear cut black or white area. Abortion certainly should not be used as a means of birth control. I am pro-life....but I cannot condemn those that get pregnant as a result of rape; or if a pregnancy endangers the mother's life. I don't know what I'd do in an instance like that and don't suppose anyone would know unless they've been in those shoes and walked those steps themselves. What if a mother has 3 children, gets pregnant, there are serious complications, the choice is to save the mother of the 3 children or save the life of the unborn child? Is it better for 4 children to be motherless or for a mother to have to give up a child to stay alive to care for her 3 living children? I had a friend that was receiving radiation treatments and became pregant and had a couple of treatments before she realized she was pregnant. She had an abortion. I'm not sure what I would do...and I hope I never have to face it, but there are people that do have to make that decision.

Actually, I would not condemn women who had abortions under the circumstances you mentioned. Often, we write and click without thinking out our entire thoughts, which I did in my original post. Shame on me for this one.
