On Tuesday, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs declined to answer questions about the president's campaign commitment to hold health-care negotiations on C-Span. Gibbs said he had not seen a letter from C-Span's Brian Lamb to congressional leaders requesting the coverage and thus could not comment on it

healthcare insurance will be broken with the following explanation:

A smaller fraction of your compensation takes the form of health insurance -- you actually see it in your pocket in terms of wages. Of course when you get things in your pocket in terms of wages, you pay taxes on them.

OK, how many of you remember when Obama slammed McCain over the same idea?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama hammered John McCain on the issue of taxes today, while speaking in Dover, NH. Obama specifically pointed out that McCain’s healthcare plan would tax workers’ health insurance benefits.

“And I can make a firm pledge: under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 will see their taxes increase – not your income taxes, not your payroll taxes, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes. My opponent can’t make that pledge, and here’s why: for the first time in American history, he wants to tax your health benefits".

Perhaps, SC Congressman Joe Wilson was on to something.

Gee - Ya think?

- He lied about transparency
- He lied about pork-barrel spendin
- He lied about having lobbyists running Washington
- He lied about raising taxes
- He lied about Health Care

He's nothing but a liar in and empty suit spewing empty platitudes.

I just wonder if the "chickens will come home to roost" in 2012 or if there will be 4 more years of the same that's forced upon the American people.
