When You Give This Matter A Bit Of Thought

Git Real's picture

When you give this matter a little thought,.....it really is remarkable!

I think it is remarkable that the press can find every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair in the last few years, with photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc. They know not only the cause of the the family fight, but they even know it was a wedge from his golf bag that she used to break out the windows in the Escalade. Not only that, they know which wedge!!!

This is the same press (Or is it?) that cannot locate Obama's birth certificate ....or any of his papers while in college.

Truly Remarkable - People see what they WANT to see.

I'm sure that Bush's misplaced records will be found at the same time that Obama's misplaced records are found. In the meantime, the world turns. . .and problems need to be solved.

Here is another question:

Did obumbles travel to Pakistan in 1981 @ age 20 ?

If that is true, what passport did he use?

Why would obumbles choose to support pakistan over our allies Israel?

I could care less about the certificate or papers thingy. I am Just Saying.

And you KNOW I am right on the point I made. Take pleasure that the press is on your side. How you can live with that.... I don't know.

...but being the devil's advocate I would add that this is but what some elitists want us to see.
Perhaps I'm an eternal optimist, but in this age of information proliferation even the districts/states represented by men and women who shroud themselves in controversy, corruption, graft, and personal gain will sooner than later awaken to the fact that these egotistical windbags must go.

The Dems are absolutely correct when it was said that they won, we lost. The problem is that from 1994 until 2006 the other side controlled Congress and for six of those years, controlled the White House and really deserved little more than riducule for their efforts. Does anyone really believe that by regaining control of Congress this year those on the right will prove to be a panacea?

The problem, as I see it, is officials firmly entrenched in their seats of power that they view as their entitlement for life.

Spit that damned Kool-Aid out already. It's poisoning your mind. You sound like Locke / Sniffles fighting for the Democrats.

Just look around you.... Westmoreland, Seabaugh, Chance, Sonny, and all those regurgitated Democrats such as Saxby. Enough said?

Since I began voting back in 1972, I voted for a Democrat only once. But, for the life of me I would have thought someone of your stature would at least consider the individual over party. I mean with all things being equal, you would choose Saxby Chambliss over Joe Frank Harris?

Entrenchment, my fat ass!

The Republican Party has convinced me that they are incapable of being or becoming the Guardians Of Fiscal Responsibility when in comes to managing our country's finances. Is this a glowing endorsement for the Democrats who make Republican irresponsibility look like child's play? Hell no..... Hate to be so crude... but we are F'd.

Then when you read this announcement, one has to wonder if there is really any future for the concepts of Freedom and Liberty that has propelled this country to greatness.

Proving just how out of touch with the American people political pundits and news anchors have become, John McLaughlin, host of The McLaughlin Group, has declared the concept of freedom as the “most overrated” political issue of 2009.

The host of the long running public affairs show made the announcement during The McLaughlin Group 2009 Year-End Awards special.

While the rest of the panel on the show described global warming, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and leading bankers as “most overrated”, McLaughlin himself took a shot at the core concept behind the Bill Of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.

“The most overrated is freedom,” McLaughlin said.

“When faced with economic uncertainty, people don’t want freedom. When they can’t see their economic future, they want the nanny state.”

My Fellow Americans.... experience the ushering in of era of 'Big Government, to the likes of what we have never seen before, nor imagined. And to the delight of it's followers with whom many blog on this very site. And to the dismay of the sheeple who are now eating crumbs from their shepherd's hand.

...but I still retain the vision given us by Ronald Reagan in that America is still that 'shining city upon a hill' that acts as a light house for seafarers of old seeking the safehaven of a harbor. There remains among us those who endured The Great Depression then insured the light of freedom against overwhelming odds and adversity to see their offspring in a better world. That is our heritage, and in large part, our birthright to accept that responsibility and do the same for our children.

As was undoubtedly true in the past, there were those among us who felt strongly about shedding that responsibility and sturdier minds and backs prevailed. It will again, for those who deceive and seek personal gain from positions of trust have yet to realize that America was built upon ideals cemented by the blood of its Patriots throughout its history.

America was born amid violence and since it has never sought conflict, but has yet to cower to enemies from afar or within.

Many are waiting for someone worthy to fight beside.

I will continue to work hard and do what is right in the background in spite of the obstacles being heaped upon me by the consequenses of a dominating and consuming nanny state.

I just hope the patriots never have to shed blood again on our soils. I know many who are and have around the world.

Cheers to ya!

We have forever ceded the notion of limited federal government and the dictates of constitutional law. It is not going to come back until we have a catastrophic failure of governance or fiscal viability. We have decided to dance with the Bear, we cannot get tired.
