The white house has made bribery legal. No problem, just pay off any senator you wish, they now have proven they will go to what ever side pays the most in bribe money. They dont even have to hide it in the freezer. Money talks in washington and bull crap walks. Vote out any person in office at election time.

There is a humorous anecdote attributed to Sir Winston Churchill in which he asks a socialite whether she would sleep with him for five million pounds. Surprised, the socialite seriously considers the offer and appears inclined to accept. But as she prepares to discuss her terms, Churchill asks whether she would sleep with him for five pounds. Deeply offended, the socialite demands, “Mr. Churchill, what kind of a woman do you think I am?!” To which Churchill responds, “Madam, we've already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.” In the course of the healthcare debate, Congressional politicians have certainly established that they are willing to sell their votes, now it is simply a matter of price.

The current political leaders are nothing but pimps (Obama administration) and whores (Congress). The democrat congress are like suicide bombers as they vote against the will of the people in just so that they can gain power and intimidate people. They are committing political Jihad on the American people.

Democrats show that they don't like children as they spend away their future on useless pork projects and send our tax dollars to foreign countries so that more unborn babies can be killed.

The last few months of the healthcare debate have unfolded in a haze of backroom deals, taxpayer-funded bribes and outright arm-twisting. Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn provided the best description of the Congressional goings-on: “This process is not legislation. This process is corruption.”

Corruption is the only way to describe the outrageous behavior on display in the United States Capitol. With seemingly no regard for the honor of their office or the responsibility owed to their constituents, Members of Congress have engaged in acts usually characteristic of banana republic governments. The venal elected officials have sold for pork the Constitution they swore to uphold. Is this the hope and change Americans thought they were getting when they placed their faith and the leadership of their country in Barack Obama?

It is simply earmarks as usual except more puiblicity by both parties!

The thing for you to do is to vote against the democrats next election if you can find a republican who won't do such things!

I feel however, due to hypocrisy, that the republicans will actually lose more offices next time. That and their attitude about people and their favortism for white collar crooks.

Add the Congressional Budget Office to the list of government hacks working for Obama and outright lying to Americans just so that Harry Reids "Cash for Cloture" bribing and intimidation scheme can push his joke of a bill toward a vote.

THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA HAVE SPOKEN AND DO NOT WANT THIS BILL!! The politicians are not listening to us folks - It's time to make sure they are run out of office due to their deceit, greed, arrogance, and disregard of the wishes of hard working Americans.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has discovered an error in the cost estimate released on December 19, 2009, related to the longer-term effects on direct spending of the manager’s amendment to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Senate Amendment 2786 in the nature of a substitute to H.R. 3590 (as printed in the Congressional Record on November 19, 2009).

Based on this extrapolation, CBO expects that Medicare spending under the legislation
would increase at an average annual rate of roughly 6 percent during the next two
decades—well below the roughly 8 percent annual growth rate of the past two decades
(excluding the effect of establishing the Medicare prescription drug benefit). Adjusting
for inflation, Medicare spending per beneficiary under the legislation would increase at
an average annual rate of roughly 2 percent during the next two decades—well below the
roughly 4 percent annual growth rate of the past two decades.
It is unclear whether such a
reduction in the growth rate could be achieved, and if so, whether it would be
accomplished through greater efficiencies in the delivery of health care or would reduce
access to care or diminish the quality of care.

I apologize for any confusion created by this error. If you have any questions, please
contact me.

Thank you Joe for bringing this to our attention.

The CBO is required to score a bill based on the assumptions provided by the bill's authors. It's worth about as much as a report card filled out by the student himself.

Democrats could write a bill saying: "Assume we invent a magic pill that will make cars get 1,000 miles per gallon. Now, CBO, would that save money?"

The CBO would have to conclude: Yes, that bill will save money.

" Among the tricks the Democrats put into their health care bills for the CBO is that the government will collect taxes for 10 years, but only pay out benefits for the last six years. Will that save money? Yes, the CBO says, this bill is "deficit neutral"!

Now it has been well established that the entire Obama administration uses blatant lies, bribes, and Chicago style thuggery to intimidate politicians to get liberals to vote for a bill that the majority of Americans do not want.

We also now know that the ACORN wing of the Obama administration is untouchable, even though they are partisan and misuse taxpayer funds to register illegals and people that do not exist.

It's past time to vote every politician out of office and take our country bag from the thugs from Chicago that are hell bent on destroying our country.

As you study Political Science - and politics, you'll find that this practice has existed with mankind for a very, very long time. It is, of course bribery - and he who knows how to play the game, gains the most for his/her constituents. The method of obtaining power may or may not change with 'new' representatives.

The 'Hope & Change' mantra went out the window on Jan 21, 2009. The new mantra is more of the same, Chicago style.

No senator got a dime into his personal pocket!
The money goes back to the state for spending.

Earmarks are NOT new.

The republican senator raising the mostt hell over this group of earmarks also got a wad of earmark money (McConnell).

Maybe you should read the total earmarks in this health bill!

They usually don't publicize earmarks but the republicans decided to do it this time for this bill since not one of them want us to have decent health coverage.

You think they'd make it public? Just wait and check campaign contributions next election cycle.

It is not the Government's job to "take care" of the Individual.. It is the responcibility of the Individual to take care of themselves.

Healthcare is not a "RIGHT" but it is another "gimmie" for the entitlement crowd that wants another handout.

Not government's job to take care of us?

Then what is their job?

Should the military take care of us?
Should the federals collect taxes to take care of us---or collect no taxes?
Should the federals build Interstate highways or let Georgia and others build their own---to where?
Should the federals control our waterways or should there simply be pirates at every river bend?
Should we citizens of Georgia allow Sonny and the state of Georgia to provide us Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance regulation, agricultural inspections---oops we tried that one, and unemployment insurance.

Well, I say no. We will take care of ourselves since we all carry guns and can use them as necessary.

Anyway we have Interstates already although we don't maintain them---the bridges are falling.

We could raise cotton again if we can find some labor----huh......maybe!!! Then old General Sherman and Lincoln would show up again, I'll bet.
