White house extortion. What next

Tuesday, the Weekly Standard's Michael Goldfarb, citing an unnamed Senate aide, wrote that "the White House is now threatening to put Nebraska's Offutt Air Force Base on the BRAC list if Nelson doesn't fall into line

It was, the source said, a "naked effort by Rahm Emanuel and the White House to extort Nelson's vote." The White House, the source said, was willing "to close a base vital to national security" to get what it wanted.
Then came yesterday. Reports the Associated Press: "Sen. Mike Johanns and 19 other Republican senators Wednesday called for a hearing into reports that the Obama administration used the future of Offutt Air Force Base as bargaining chip in the health care debate."

Include Mandatory Urine Drug Testing for Congress!!!!

I say the Health care package should include the mandatory urine drug test for Congress and Pres. Who do you think will fail the test?

Urine Test — This guy has a very valid point! This was written by a construction worker.

I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes, and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit….. In order to earn that pay check, I work on a rig site for a Fort McMurray construction project. At any time I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. HOWEVER, what I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don’t have to pass a urine test.
Shouldn’t one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Understand – I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do on the other hand have a real big problem with helping someone sit on their backside, drink beer and do drugs. Could you imagine how much money this country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? If you agree, please pass this along, or simply delete if you don’t.

Hope you will pass it along though, because something has to change in this country.
