Power outage on 12/1/09

To any neighbor in Aberdeen Village, if you are without power tonight and AT & T has been doing their handiwork in and around your property, let me know. The city has contracted with the cheapest and totally inept contractors on this project they're toting as an "UPGRADE" in "Service". AT & T doesn't know the definition of either of those two words.

I was affected by this as well, Sunday through Monday around 2 PM when it was back up and running. Very disruptive when you are trying to work from home. I moved to PTC from Fayetteville and did not know that I had to reset all my settings once I was plugged back in at my new residence, a very frustrating experience I must say.

Long distance? FAILED after deregulation
AT&T Cable? FAILED
AT&T Celluar Service? FAILED, then bought Bell South

Why do the honchos at AT&T think that "AT&T" is a good brand? A lot of younger, post-deregulation people associate AT&T with several high profile failures and consider it very negatively. Bell south on the other hand was considered a pretty solid brand.

It won't take long for At&T to turn Bell South into another of a long string of failures. AT&T is one of the worst run companies out there.

I remember those days. It was kite string and two tin cans, right? Smiling

A kite string and two tin cans would be more of an "Upgrade" than what AT & T has done to my property.
