95-Year Old Man tells the President his mind

Wed, 11/25/2009 - 3:24pm
By: PhilPTC

Just got emailed this. Not sure if he's real or not, but remember that Ben Franklin wrote under various pen names...

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes
all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body,
he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now.
He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.

Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly
before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one,
is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can't figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
" We're no longer a Christian nation"
" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even
announced to the world," America is mean-
spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching
that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who
died for no other reason than to free a
whole lot of strangers from tyranny and
hopelessness.)
I'd say shame on the both of you but I don't think you like America nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her
ideals."
Which ones did you mean? Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British ? Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War ? I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII,because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around because we stand for freedom.

I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.
Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue .You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts who was putting up a fight ? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now. And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle.

Sincerely,
Harold B. Estes

It has been almost a month and as good as your letter is, it is now incomplete thanks to the questionable gift that keeps on giving - President B H Obama.

2 trips to Denmark for failed missions on the Olympics and "climate change", threats to both Republican and Democrat lawmakers on his health care obssesion, uncleared visitors to the White House (twice), the classic "We'll go bankrupt if we don't pass health care", popularity/effectiveness lowest ever for an 11-month President, the threat to close an air base if that state's Senator doesn't vote for health care, etc.

Come on Harold, I know it is the holiday season but let's get your letter updated so it has maximum impact. It is a classic. I promise not to bother you again unless Prezbo does something really stupid.

Need to add the soft on terrorism charge. Twice. Ft. Hood for ignoring the obvious and the Christmas Day rich kid who was reported by his own father and we put him on a B-list.

Maybe it is George Bush's fault for nor being tough enough on those terrorists we caught. After all, at least one we released from Guantanamo showed up in Pakistan last week - dead, I think

Even China agreed there is a pollution problem Their own people are sick from it. Congress will pass the Denmark accords.

Health care made it today in the Senate---the house is a shoo-in.
Once the population sees what happens with the Insurance companies taking care of our health, the one payer law will then pass--2 years maybe.

Nebraska got exempted from paying any excess over what they are paying now for Medicaid, so Senator Nelson capitulated. That threat is a rumor only. NORAD is dead anyway. We are going entirely to naval and ground missiles. Airplanes have failed their mission of bombing in recent years, and will never work without occupation after the bombing. England taught us that during Germany's terrible bombing of them. Bombing of Iraq without occupation did almost zero, now for 8 years!
You don't keep up. Just wish.

I want to amplify what Bonkers noted in his post above.

Senator Nelson won several concessions, most notably a commitment from the federal government to fully fund his state's expanded Medicaid population. All states get full federal assistance for the first three years of the bill -- but Nebraska would be the only state getting full assistance afterward. One Democratic official put the cost to the federal government at $45 million over a decade.

Your leader Barack Obama tells you in his autobiography. After Barry Soetoro an official Indonesian citizen came to Hawaii to be raised by his White grandparents, he took the name Barack Obama II where he was born in Kenya.
Having attended Muslim schools in Indonesia and been educated in the Study of Islam, Soetoro was in fact a Muslim. Obama emerged from his teenage years in Hawaii as an angry youth, bitter at the abandonment he suffered from both his African father and unconventional White mother.
Now as Barack Obama, he searched to find his identity as an African-American by reading Black radical political writers including Malcolm X and seeking out Black Communist Frank Marshall Davis to be his mentor while using marijuana and cocaine to express his rebellion and hatred of Whites.
During his college years in Chicago, Obama developed an extensive collection of radical leftist friends, mentors and political associates including the SDS Weatherman US Capitol & Pentagon Bomber Bill Ayers, the Marxist Community organization of Saul Alinsky, the corrupt convict Toney Rezko, Black Liberation Theologist Reverend Jeremiah Wright with his “goddamn America” philosophy and the Black Muslim Louis Farrakhan. More on the history of your president later.

You leave me overwhelmed with your official Indonesian citizen; where he was born in Kenya; in fact a muslim (with Rev. Wright); unconventional white Mother; then he became a black man under black radical political writers. Using cocaine and marijuana he rebelled against whites!
His radical leftist friends, mentors, and political associates (the worst) and what with the weathermen, capitol and pentagon bombers and the marxists community, and convicts; black free theologists and a god dam America theology and the black muslims, he was full taught.

These uppity people get at me too, also.

Happy Thanksgiving to you. You really need to get over it and move on. Your just like the folks still blaming Bush for things. Move on do the best you can to help. Yes I believe the current administration is mentally ill and dangerous. They are liars and cheaters but election time is coming and they will get theirs. Thats all we have is our vote to change things. But very few go to the polls, they just complain.

In his 2nd book The Audacity of Hope, Obama explains the origins, meaning and goals of his promise of change in America. Unfortunately the liberal media didn’t let the voters in on it. Obama explains that he got his vision of “change” from Huey Newton, the co-founder of the radical Black Panther Party and his Marxist Professors during his college years. Obama explains that his principles of “change” were first developed in Chicago during the 1930’s by the communist community organizer Saul Alinsky.
After graduating from college in 1984 Obama’s first job was as a community organizer for an organization of Jewish radicals who followed Saul Alinsky’s program of “change” as set out in Alinsky’s 1971 book Reveille for Radicals. Alinsky defined “change” as invoking radical socialism and meant the redistribution of wealth in America. Obama’s job as a community organizer was to follow Alinsky’s rules for radicals. The Rules advocated “change’ whereby the end always justified the means and was a blue print for future generations of leftists. The word “change” is a code word for creating a socialist revolution via the ballot box.
Obama was taught to hide his true intentions with the vagueness of the word change using the tactics of denying the truth or just plain lying to advance the cause. Obama used these tactics in his presidential platform and we see it over and over from liberal democrats in these blogs when confronted with the facts. Community organizers were taught to ridicule opponents when arguments of conservatives could not be refuted by logic, evidence, common sense or intelligent debate.
Organization for action was and is centered on America’s white middle class to get them to go along with the idea of “change”, by convincing the middle class to go along with the “change” for their own destruction.
One of Alinsky’s prize pupils was Hillary Clinton, whose 1969 senior thesis at Wellesby College was a 75 page salute to the ideas of Saul Alinsky. The radicals for redistributing the income of the middle class were assured of their democratic candidates in either Obama or Hillary, both of which have followed the radical rules of Saul Alinsky. And while these revolutionaries have been pursuing a carefully organized plan for decades, the White Middle Class has been fast asleep and still is.

Of course true or not, the Obama machine will seek out who wrote it, who posted it , who enabled it and attack their background, children and future children.

No, they won't actually read it it and think about what Mr. Estes or his alter ego (which is about 65% of all real Americans) have to say. But that's the way it is in the puzzle palace in DC.

God help us all.

Submitted by Bonkers on Wed, 11/25/2009 - 8:49pm.

You are correct, it is not true.
There is a Mr. Estes but he didn't write it---there is no proof.

As to 65% agreeing with the piece, whomever wrote it, I disagree.

Maybe 30% nut cases. Teabaggers, etc.
As to Obama checking up on you for agreeing with it, I wouldn't worry!

Actually, it is true. See http://www.snopes.com/politics/soapbox/haroldestes.asp

Having said that, I don't agree with Mr. Estes because it is the same garbage that the 912s and Teabaggers spout. Look, if you want to change the country, try WORKING on changing it without tearing the president down. That's why there are elections -- as my father says, vote the b@st@ards out, and run for office yourself. And for gawd's sake, stop spouting this filth about he's muslim, he wasn't born in the US, blah blah blah. Even if that crap were true (and it wasn't -- both mother and father were in Hawaii when he was born), by your own twisted logic, neither was McCain -- he was born in Panama -- so get over it.

How about taking all this effort to spout garbage and turn it toward making a real difference. Become a community organizer and make your town a better place to live. OMG, I just said community organizer, and everyone knows that really is a communist position since Obama was one in Chicago!

I really get so tired of this crap. Why can't we just get along? Why can't we take all this vitriol and put the energy toward fixing our own problems?

Agreeing with Mr. Estes are firmly 60% of Americans and that figure is well on the way to 80% which you and the mindless Dems will discover next year when the nation votes against a President who is not even on the ballot. I doubt Estes is real, but his ideas certainly are - a great country being diminished by the actions of one "man" who has a dangerous agenda. Fortunately he's crossed over into the unpopular waters below 50% which is where the mindless followers in Congress and elsewhere begin to drop off.

Isn't that drop in the polls to under 50% from wherever it was after the election in 10 months some kind of a record? I didn't see that on TV or in the AJC.

The problem is not that the information wasn't there. It's the right-wingers injecting race when they refer to Obama as a "man" and a "man-child". It's an obvious reference to "boy", exactly like Rush meant it when he started it and Robert meant it when he parroted it. Look up the definition of man-child and see what you get. It's a synonym for a term insulting specifically and only to black men and that's the exact way it was intended and the reason that particular phrase was used.

If y'all want to refer to Obama in a thinly disguised racial terms, don't accuse me of playing the race card and get mad when you're called out to explain it. That dog won't hunt.

man child: a grown man who is very immature, therefore considered a man child.
Dude you need to grow up and stop being such a man child

A Man Child is a fully-grown male that acts like a baby. A Man Child usually whines, complains, and thinks everything is unfair.

Urban Dictionary

man-child
–noun, plural men-chil⋅dren.
a male child; boy; son.
Free Dictionary

man-child - a child who is male
Synonyms: male offspring
Websters Dictionary

These are just 3 of over 30 results that I looked up.. Jeff I could not find a reference to a racial slur except on some far left sites.. Mind linking to the dictionary you use?

Personally I think Rush refers to Obama as a Man-Child under the Urban Definition.. It does fit well..
But you can judge all who critizes as racist it all right.. I mean if I took offense at Obama calling the tax protestors as "tea-baggers" a slur for a particular gay sex act then I might just get upset enough to call him a bad name.. We wouldn't want that now would we?

from what was actually said but....

I think the problem here is that you guys have upholstered the "Race" gun so many times that now you see spooks everywhere... Wait a minute was that a racial slur too? I don't know anymore.. I can't keep up.

Everyone that protest anything about Obama is a racist.. Hollywood says it.. Congress says.. Ex Presidents says it so it must be true.

You (Libs/left/dems et..al)have pulled that gun to silence dissention any time anyone tries to stand up against any HAND OUT program that comes along..

Look at the housing mess.. you guys helped put us into.. Forcing Loan Companies into giving Mortgages to anyone ie.. Minorities.. that cannot afford it.. (Yes there was greed involved once the program was started the Banks were told that the Loans would be backed up by Fred/Fanny (Government) So go figure they started loaning to everyone.)

Now America elected a President that has a diverse background and still the race baiter’s among you are not satisfied.. You still see race as an issue..

Please let us know when legitimate criticism of Obama’s policies can be made.. I guess after 2016 we can once again use Free Speech to protest Socialist agendas..

But then again it will probably be too late. Free Speech will be so curtailed that “Legitimate” criticism will have to first go through a vetting process to determine if the criticism is “fair”. Of course to be determined by the Government that is being criticized.

So keep on unlimbering that long iron.. unfortunately for you many don’t think you can hit the broad side of a barn with it anymore

you are so out of touch. All you know how to do is criticize, you don't have any ideas about what to do...so why do you rant?

If you can't suggest a solution, quit whining and trying to degrade everyone else.

You need to get over it...a lot of people wanted to think of themselves as Republicans because they felt it made them feel rich. We have gone way down the rabbit hole.

Do you want to degenerate in everything? That is what they hope. Everyone is in everyone's back pocket...dont' you understand that? The idea of a better healthcare plan has already been screwed by both parties even though it works else where.

Do you want to argue over other things as well just to drag Obama down, or do you want to find something that will help yourself?

Everyone needs to ..try...to pull us out. The reason you will ..NEVER.. have meaningful health care is that both parties are pulling against each other. Trying so hard to discredit the other, that they are knowing hurting the American public just to prove their point.

I find it interesting that:

Libs (lead by Obama, of course) are blamed for the housing mess, when President Bush decided everyone would have a house under his administration and loosened regulations that were there to protect investors. In fact, let's not just blame them for the housing mess, let's blame this administration for the entire financial mess. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Obama is derided for taking months to make a decision on sending more troops to Afganistan when Bush decided (after pulling the troops away from nailing OBL) to go to war against Iraq, and plunged our country into 8 years and counting of war, benefiting only the oil companies and defense contractors.

So many of the health care reform protesters are more afraid that THEIR medicare/medicaid benefits will be curtailed, making healthcare cost more affordable for them -- forget that there are MILLIONS of Americans who have NO form of healthcare insurance, and are buckling under the costs of healthcare when a medical catastrophe hits, causing people to have to file bankruptcy to try to save the family home (this one I know, bitterly, from family experience). Why is it those with no insurance and paying with cash get charged 2-3 times what patients with health insurance get charged? Where were these protesters when Bush decided (before the 2004 election) to give retirees prescription drug benefits? All I remember is corporations were fast to dump their retiree's prescription drug benefits so that the government could pick those costs up. I'm not hearing the protesters protest the closing of the "donut hole" in the Medicare prescription drug plan. I guess anything that adds money back into THEIR pocket obviously is a Republican plan.

Obama's administration is also being blamed for limiting free speech, when the last administration removed so many of our civil liberties. To the disappointment of many of his supporters, Obama has continued those civil liberty limitations imposed by Bush & company, but I didn't hear any of you give him praise for that.

Funny how amnesia is selective like that...

When the so-called non-racist conservatives can't validate their claims, they throw in the race card. There are valid concerns being expressed by conservatives, moderates, and liberals - but those who find it difficult to accept 'change' use the race card to instill fear in those who don't realize that we are all Americans. The attempt to deny that the term 'boy' has been used for generations to denigrate black males would be laughable if it didn't point out the absolute refusal to acknowledge that 'race' has been a problem in this country. . .and unfortunately, still is. Amnesia comes in handy when the truth is just too hard to handle. I have such hope in the under 40 crowd. They are our future!

Robert W. Morgan's picture
Submitted by Robert W. Morgan on Sat, 12/05/2009 - 7:23am.

No racial reference there at all - just simply you are completely nuts if you think the generation under 40 will have anything to do with your future - or mine -or anyone's.

If this out of control social engineer in the white house is allowed to continue his experiment with health care and expand it to other areas (his stated goal) then the under 40 crowd will be paying taxes at a 60% rate, social security and medicare will be non-existent and everyone over 50 will be forced out into the street to die. Use your head DM and scrape the Obama bumper sticker off your car. Prezbo has worn out his welcome.

When health care goes down in flames, it will be because of some far left loons are upset that free abortions were taken out. Then real Americans, ones who work, pay their bills, don't need or want abortion and don't have the entitlement mentality will vote themselves a brand new Congress next year and neuter the actor-in-chief for the remainder of his first and only term. Then we'll get a real leader in there and the dark days of our country will fade into a distant memory - kinda like Jimmy Carter.

And the real leader does not have to be a Republican - they didn't choose too well last time and that's why we are stuck with Mr. hope and change. I'd settle for Hillary as President over a second Obama term - as an extreme example. Newt is probably best positioned to take over if the election were held today, but 3 years from now - who knows. As stated before, it takes a Carter to get a Reagan, and we certainly have the first part. And we desperately need the second part, although other that Newt and maybe Romney, I see no one who resembles a Reagan.

Calling me nuts doesn't change the fact that race problems exist in this country. If you are not aware of 'code' words and/or denigrating statements - congratulations. However, the campaign against Obama follows the Alinsky playbook to a tee. As for Reagan - he was a marvelous actor, but I lived in California when he was governor - and saw the beginnings of a state headed for serious trouble. When Reagan announced his run for president in the town where the three civil rights workers were killed, we knew where the Republican Party was headed. (Aw heck - USC lost) We'll see what happens Mr. Morgan. We have three more years before the next presidential election.

Don’t worry about trying to keep up or deciding what might be a slur. We’ll be happy to dissect everything said, examine the minutia of it in excruciating detail, and point out any racial nuances for you. Besides, we’ve had years and years of practice at it and if we left it to you amateurs you might miss something.

I hope you and yours had a nice Thanksgiving!

That's all the libs have. Of course now that it has been used and abused for years, no one really pays any attention to it.

What I said and meant was what I said and meant. There is not a bit of race in what I said until you all - mostly jeffc - put it there.

Now read what I said
""Man" in quotes calls the readers attention to the fact that the subject is not a man at all, but rather something else. My meaning is "man-child" and that fits this empty suit of a President perfectly. The whining, the frequent use of "I" and "me" in his speeches, the way he is led around by Rahm Emanuel and other hard-core leftists and most of all his inability to explain (or even understand) any aspect of the health care bill his handlers have directed him to promote. Or the ludicrous decision to try KSM in New York. He is an actor reciting lines. He has no core principles or beliefs, unless you count Marxism. Hope that is clear enough for you."

Actor reciting lines is the most relevant part of that. Most actors are empty-headed and immature, better that way so they can absorb the personality and mannerisms of the role they are playing. Another good definition of man-child.

Okay? Got it? Try not to get distracted this time. So, is he a man-child or actor or what?

And yes I listen to Rush for about 15 minutes on my way to and from lunch - I now have a full-time job again and don't have the luxury of sitting around listening to the radio waiting for my government check. But no, I never recall him using the term and I don't parrot anyone except Tony when I pay my water bill.

Jeff C gets to throw out the racist term in order to stifle the antagonist. Perhaps he meant, automaton, perhaps zealot, perhaps, neophite, perhaps elitist snob. In the overall scheme of things, don't you believe that the troika of Obama, Pelosi, and Reed are taking the country down a road already well-traveled in Europe? None of this is new. Eventually we run out of other people's money. Eventually, retirement will consist of being forced to move to a government run home (for costs sake) with a government doctor coming to dispense cheap pills and placebos to a docile population? Let's cut the crap and just hold a new Constitutional Convention? The old one no longer applies

Everybody that thinks "man" is a synonym for automaton, zealot, neophyte or elitist snob please raise your hand.

Jeff, I don't know why Wedge chose to do it that way, but what would you have said if he had used "person" instead of "man"?? Regardless, I think you're "picking nits" because Wedge doesn't have a history of being bashful about conveying thoughts and opinions. I don't understand why you had to take it to a different level with the obvious negative inference.

If he had used "person" then I would not have asked. In fact, if Robert had used "Man" without the quotes it would have passed without me questioning it. He put the word in quotes to call attention to the fact that he using the word as code for another meaning. Look at the context. It's obvious what he meant, why else use the quotes? It's a fair question.

Maybe Robert will enlighten us.

I don't think that JeffC was tarring me with the racist brush, it was Robert. But it is the favorite tactic of some on here, discount the entire point of a posting and rail against something tangential. It is good drama, but although filled with sound and fury, signifies nothing. I think calling out "man" is really lost on the 40's and below crowd. That is so dated and old compared to the modern version "thug". That would be the blogger term of racism these days.
Who knows, I do not view the President as the root of all evil, I view most of our modern politicans as people cut from the same corrupt cloth. Look at what we are getting. Perhaps it is just a malaise I feel. Happy Thanksgiving to all. Even those in Washington

You folks really get distracted easily. I'll try to help, but read what I actually say instead of what you hoped I wrote or what you thought I should have written.

"Man" in quotes calls the readers attention to the fact that the subject is not a man at all, but rather something else. Hope that is clear enough for you.

The term "boy" has nothing to with what I wrote yesterday. "Boy" is a term that can be seen as racist, and I am not going down that road. To me the fact that the leading contender to become the nation's worst President is half-white (or half-black) is irrelevant to how he is running the country. It was certainly relevant to how he got elected and by whom and may still be relevant to a few who are still expecting the pendulum to swing farther left (newsflash, it can't go farther left, it is hitting the left side of whatever houses a pendulum and it is bouncing back - fast, I might add)

Now if you guys could get back to the subject - how come we don't hear about his eroding popularity in the polls from the AJC or the networks. Jeffy, this gives you an opening to say "What about George Bush" jump on it.

I knew when Rush started using the term that it would soon sweep through the right-wing's echo chamber. I also knew what Rush meant when he said it. Anyone who thinks that calling a black man a "man-child" isn't evoking "boy" is delusional.

As to your question about Obama's polls falling below 50% in 10 months after the election being a record, the answer is that the record is held by Clinton who took four months to fall below 50%. Obama merely ties Reagan at 10 months.

Here's some of the reporting in the MSM that you missed:

MSNBC:

Obama approval drops below 50%

LA Times:

Poll shows Obama losing white approval

NYT:

An Unsurprising Slide for Obama

Aren't we all mixes? Nearly all of us, anyway. You may be one white pure one, I don't know. I know I have some cave-man in me.

Now, I must say that since you don't approve of Bush's handling of the country for eight years and not a single month of Obama's handling of it, I am today anyway convinced that may be the following, which I understand you to espouse, is the real way to head with our country's governance:

On January 1, 2010, eliminate the tax code in it's entirety--states are on their own. Federal government must get their money the best way they can. (You know for wars and state dinners and such).

Christianity established by directive as the religion of the USA and that no law can be passed whether federal or state that violates the KJV of the Holy Bible.

English (USA type) is to be spoken by all, or keep silent until you learn.

If you have a strange skin color (other than Navajo White or whiter, you must have a certificate in hand that explains why that is.

Any kind of firearm is to be legal for anyone to carry except prisoners. Maybe women sometimes.

All such things as roads, welfare, food stamps, health care, civil rights, legal representation, etc., to be totally the responsibility of the States.

Low riding pants will be illegal anytime, anywhere.

Ignorant people will be silent. States determine. Don't waste state money on schools for ignorance.

Newspapers can not print deviant stuff like sad tales of woe of poor people and such.
Free Speech is dependent upon the Christian teachings.

There can be no abortions but illegal people can not have any new illegals. They are to be dumped into the Rio Grande at low tide with a life preserver before birth occurs.

As to armies to bomb out those who aren't democratic and Christian, the feds will have that responsibility, but the southern states can force the issue by vote.

And lastly, anything not covered here is to be null and void unless added by the ratification of 26 states, or 10 southern states.

You used to be a little bit off center, but lately you are making great strides towards full-blown insanity. Do you actually have a job? House? Relatives? Children (please God, say no)? a Wallet? Socks that match?

Surely you must have a doctor. Please make an appointment.

I know that the ultimate truth hurts somtimes, but fooling yourself is the worst kind of hurt.
One can't pick and choose what is the truth.

And, What you call "center" is NOT what most find it to be. Maybe that is no place to be anyway.
